Ikea HerringJeanneExcellent. I wanted to buy more jars but didnt have a basket or cart and my arms were full.please Consider making grocery baskets more easily available in grocery section.5
SpoiledJoelIn all fairness, this sat on my counter for over a month before I noticed that the top was bulging and leaking around the jar cap. The jar had not been opened and the seal had not been broken, but it was spilling out anyway. I enjoy herring and was looking forward to eating it on a special occasion. It should not have gone bad before being opened.... at least not within a reasonably short time. I probably should add that it was not refrigerated when I purchased it, so I didn't refrigerate it when I got it home.1
Herring reviewJuttaI love the taste of the herring. I don’t like the big peppercorns. They get stuck in my teeth.4
wonderfull herringNataliyaIt's a little sweet, and very delicious. I'm incredibly bummed IKEA USA stopped carrying all their other fish products, like KALLES or even vegan fish roe, and I hope that at least this one stays. They are all a family favorite!5
Delicious EmeseWe need a larger size5
The most European taste you can get from the store in Texas ChristineFor fish lovers5
So stinkin’ sweet EmilyWhy is this so sweet? It’s like the fish is suspended in syrup. It could have been so good. I have rarely met a pickled fish I didn’t like—this is the one I didn’t like. I’ve been tasting it here and there to see if the flavor gets any better for me but nope. They are decidedly yucky. 2
