Horrible, no lateral support at allJohnThese are the worst cabinets legs ever. there is no screw fastening to the cabinet. If the cabinet is not totally secured to the wall the legs will pull out of the sockets. This makes installing very, very, very frustrating. They would certainly NOT be good in an earth quake. I have installed Ikea cabinets a long time ago and we did not have this problem.
VERY disappointed, Ikea.
Section plastic legsElaineDon’t waste your money on these plastic legs. They fall out easily and break when you are trying to place the cabinet against the wall. Get the stainless steel legs instead. They screw in place and are much more stable.
Great ProductCarlosGreetings, i have been installing IKEA cabinets for about 30 years now, also im a certified Installer, means i know all the system like the palm of my hand, the legs can hold a lot of weight, i have never have any issues or customer calling me back regarding this product, if you installed right, you wont have no problems, also their is other alternatives to add to the legs to make them more stronger.
Lost legend ElenaI got them in 2008 while replacing my kitchen cabinets, they are unbreakable till now. The reason for bad reviews now is more likely poor quality of material Ikea uses, got few plastic items from ma y years ago, recently bought the same thing from IKEA- the NEW broken / the OLD still works
Can't believe Ikea hasn't improved thisBryanThese are terrible. Order several extra sets if you are going to use these.
DissappointedNancyThese break very easily. They were unusable. I now have my cabinet sitting in my hallway while I come up with an alternative. Not ideal.
Flimsy Waste of PlasticCavanAbsolutely worthles

Always Addressing the WRONG ProblemsBrianI've installed IKEA kitchens for 12 years now, and they are always re-designing parts that didn't need attention. screws with fewer threads, brackets with thinner steel, less dense MDF and particle board.. They are cutting corners everywhere and it will lead to more safety issues. This new leg is exactly half of what they used to offer for a lower price actually. The ring on the bottom will not work at all with floating, LVP floor installations. Relying on two pegs to hold them to the cabinet floor rather than four must've saved them $.02 per pack. Why only two legs? I remember the Traemand hacks used to only use two legs on the front and throw away the rest just to cut time. i guess they believe the suspension rail is enough (if it can ALWAYS be used, which it cannot) and all that weight from granite or quartz is fine with half the support, all the weight you add to the cabinet now relies on the little steel bracket at the top corner of your particle board melamine. Get a clue IKEA.
A step backwardDavidWhoever came up with this new leg design has never installed an IKEA kitchen. You're not supposed to install base cabinets on a floating floor so the leg has to stand on the subfloor. When you install the flooring after the base frames are in, the wide part of the foot that's supposed to support the actual toe kick is now BELOW the level of the floor and the toe kick folds inward at the bottom. This problem could be solved by including the floating rings from the old style leg instead of the fixed one. I do like the fact that they come preassembled. For that improvement you work your way up to 1 star.
