Very Durable and UsefulMichelleI saw someone else say this was difficult to put together, but I had no issue with it. The instructions were clear, and I thought it was mostly easy to assemble. I would recommend two people due to its size though. The shelves themselves glide effortlessly and it makes it easier to see what you've got stored as a result. This does unfortunately use more cabinet space, but as an extra pantry I find it quite helpful to see more foodstuffs. I was concerned the shelves would be too weak, but I've had no issue loading them up with 50+ cans of pop (soda) at a time. A year later and I've not seen any bowing or change in how smoothly the shelves move even with all the weight. My only real complaint is that I think it should have better feet; I instead put on some adjustable metal Ekets that work great.
Not a normal Ikea experienceWilliamThis is NOT a typical IKEA purchase. It's honestly miserable. Instead of one cabinet with clear instructions, you're given 4 or 5 separate pieces with no guidance on how they all come together to create the finished pantry cabinet.
I'm an IKEA junkie, most of the furniture in my house is from IKEA and I'm very comfortable assembling their products. This was frustrating and definitely not the simple, straightforward experience IKEA is known for.
If you buy this, bring your patience... and maybe someone with a magic wand. Its not simple or straight forward, its just frustrating.
