The door damper prevents your cabinet door from slamming by catching the moving door so that it closes slowly, gently and silently.

Snap-on hinges can be mounted onto the door without screws, and you can easily remove the door for cleaning.

Great addition!ElaineI love this cabinet. Deep storage. Wire baskets installed and operate easily, and make access to stored items so easy. I actually only installed two because I wanted to store my vacuum inside. I was able to easily return the two baskets I didn’t need.5
Horrible piece of furniture!!LuannConfusing directions, but that’s to be expected w/ IKEA. The worst part, though, is the baskets don’t fit right. One was so warped we had to try to bend it a bit to fit. If you use the spacers, you can’t fit the baskets, but if you don’t, the baskets jiggle and fall off, they fall off track. Don’t even hope to pull them out and NEVER expect to store anything breakable on there, like jars, at all. So disappointed with this piece of furniture and with the quality overall. 1
