Very nice, but. . .PerrySo after several years it was time to replace my Seglaro canopy, and I was happy to find that it was available as a separate item. I like the darker color, the fabric seems heavier and water resistant, so all in all a good product. However, the corner gussets for the umbrella ribs have been redesigned, and not for th better. Previously, the gusset was triangular to match the umbrella corner and allow the rib to extend fully into the corner. Now the gussett is squared off before the corner, so that the rib can't extend fully but instead exerts a lot of pressure on the stitch that squares things off. It would be easier to see if I could atach an image, but I just have a feeling that it might tear through in a very short period of time based on how tight the fit is. I considered removing the stitch, but that probably falls into the category of "if it's not REALLY broke don't fix it." So as I said, it's very nice, but. . .
Seglaro Patio Umbrella KathleenWe love our replacement umbrella! We originally had the tan colored one, but this time we got the dark gray color. It provides much more shade!
We will continue getting these umbrellas. They are excellent quality and a good price.

Let us use our Seglaro umbrella again!ElsaWe bout the Seglaro umbrella in 2020, and it was the perfect fit for shading our very sunny deck. However, after 4 years of use, the fabric ripped. I thought we were going to have to buy a completely new umbrella, but was delighted to find that IKEA now makes just canopy replacement. I had been dreading trying to replace it, as I thought it would be complicated, but it took me under 20 minutes to get the old one off and the new one on. We like the color better, and it seems to block more heat than the original, providing cooler shade. We are so happy to have our shady deck back, and would recommend this for anyone else who has the Seglaro base, with a canopy that needs to be replaced. It was so much less expensive than having to buy a completely new umbrella structure.

Anthracite Color Seglaro Canopy AnnJust before summer 2024 we got the anthracite Seglaro replacement canopy for the umbrella we had purchased early summer of 2021. The Seglaro umbrella is perfect for our patio, so the 2021 umbrella is the second we bought. The canopy fabric seemed thinner than our first umbrella's, and it did tear in summer 2023. I was glad to see that Ikea had started making replacement canopies. Some reviewers said they had trouble putting it on older umbrellas - it was pretty easy on the 2021 umbrella. The anthracite color canopy is much thicker than either previous beige one, and the anthracite repels water. We are delighted to be able to sit under the umbrella even in pretty heavy rainfall. We do close the umbrella when the wind kicks up: we were surprised by strong winds one time with our first Seglaro umbrella, hence the need for a second. I don't know if the beige replacement is the same as the anthracite, that color was not available when we needed it.

Works great on our 2012 SeglaroDavidThey must have modified the grommets where the screw clamps as our old hex wrench screw fit perfectly. So glad Ikea kept our awning sustainable after all these years.

Works okay for older frame...Amy... Just takes extra stretching which might compromise the fabric, but beats replacing the whole thing. Older cover looked great for years. Hopefully this one will too.
