in a dryer., but the information online avoids mentioning that under the care information. I think it’s an important feature as some people dry everything in the dryer and if they don’t read all the fine print, they might dry these in a dryer. They dried fast in the sun for me outside, so I’m still very happy with them.

They need a couple more washes to really soften up and become more absorbent, but I'm happy with them. I'm giving four stars rather than five because five stars would indicate the best dish towels ever, a designation that is reserved for the flour sack towels I bought in the Berkshires five years ago!
