Product details

This cover is made of the natural based fabric SPORDA in cotton, polyester and linen. It has a textured surface with a two-toned mélange effect.

The chair cover comes in one piece and secures in place with hook-and-loop fasteners so you can easily remove it and put it back on again.

After lively meals, it's nice to know that you can easily remove the chair cover and machine wash it.

Extra covers to alternate with mean it's easy to give both your chair and room a new look.

Machine wash warm, normal cycle.

Do not bleach.

Do not tumble dry.

Iron medium temperature, max 300°F/150°C.

Dry clean any solvent except trichloroethylene.

Wet marks should always be dried off as soon as possible to stop moisture penetration.

Safety and compliance

This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

IKEA replaces IKEASandiWhen we were just ready to change out our IKEA Henriksdal dining chairs I began to look all over...all online due to Covid. We wanted 8 comfortable, sturdy, armchairs. Everything was either too flimsy, too expensive or both. As soon as I saw the Sakarias armchairs with their charcoal grey covers, I knew they met all of my criteria. Unfortunately, for me not IKEA, they appear to be wildly popular. No one within decent driving distance of me had any in stock. It became quite a treasure hunt. I was driving to my daughter’s in Atlanta and saw they had some. My first activity there was heading to IKEA. I checked out the comfort and sturdiness level up in the showroom then hurried downstairs to find the last 4 chairs & covers they had available. Yay! Upon returning home I rushed to the College Park, MD store as soon as their “In Stock” notification posted. Now, I had 8 chairs but College Park only had 2 covers. A few weeks later, I discovered a newly replenished supply of chair covers at Conshohoken, PA IKEA. I stopped in there (right on my route from Upstate NY to MD) and bought 3 (one back up). Mission Accomplished!, We could not be more pleased. As always, the chairs went together easily, the covers, too. These rival similar chairs I’ve seen in other homes for triple the price (or more). We have been part of the IKEA Family for 30+ years ...before there was an official one. And, we have no plans to leave the family. We donated our still fine Henriksdal chairs (with 2 sets of chair covers - brick & blue) to a local charity furniture store.5
