This cover is made of dope-dyed GUNNARED fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned mélange effect.

Poor cover fit. Seat lining extends past cover!LynnVery disappointed that either the cover isn't long enough to hide the white seat lining, or the lining was cut too long. This happened with 3 of 4 stools purchased. One wobbled badly but resolved with a double felt protector on that leg. But for $150, I expected better. Too far to return them so keeping them. I'll have to cut the lining. Wish I could post photos!

Doesn’t fit 2024 model chairsAasimBought 24 & 3/8” Bergman’s Bar stools in Jan 2024 with a back rest thinking that replacement covers will also be appropriately called Bergmund.
I don’t know if all of a sudden the stools they’re making are bigger or if they switched suppliers that makes the covers but I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who’s noticed these covers are too big (they don’t fit properly).
Don’t fitErinI bought replacement covers for my chairs: same make and model. They do NOT fit! They are not when wide enough to go over the back of the chair. Now I have to drive 60+ miles to the nearest IKEA to return them.

Covers do not fit chairs. Ikea changed the dimensions.DamienThese covers do not fit the bars stools chair that I purchased 3 years ago at IKEA. The dimensions are smaller. IKEA must have changed the dimensions of the chairs. Total waste. Most likely done to push people to buy an entire chair instead of just new covers. At least IKEA could sell the old covers for people who want to replace these. This demonstrate how IKEA is not environmentally responsible.

Great stool and covers! BUT...PamelaWe bought two of these stools and covers about 5 years ago. We ordered new covers. The covers were great, but they must have changed the design of the stools a bit. The covers were just a tad smaller across the top and we couldn't get them on. So bummed because we really wanted some extra covers in other colors.

What is polyester?
Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture.
