Incandescent Enthusiasts: Beware! :/ChaseTLDR: this is a lamp which expects its owners to use an LED, evidenced in the wattage limit: 8.7W (and the base type: E12) I love the look and movement of this lamp and was excited to set it up at my desk. In my excitement, I neglected to look at the bulb requirements before purchasing and was sorry to find, on arrival, that it takes an E12 which is < 9 Watts. I prefer the feel and look (and neuro, physio + ocular effect/impact) of incandescent bulbs, and, given these wattage and base parameters, it is difficult to find a suitable bulb. The bulbs I could find were small, and better used for a night light or Christmas lights. Had it been 25 or 40 Watt limit, one would have access to more appropriate incandescent bulbs for a lamp of this purpose (study, desk lighting, mood lighting). Will be bringing the lamp in to return. :/3

"I spend a lot of time choosing materials when I design, and the lamps in the RÖDFLIK series are a brilliant example of this. It’s clear that the look is inspired by old enameled industrial lamps. The lacquered surface is extra-shiny, the toggle switch is in solid brass and the details are brass-colored. The floor/reading lamp and the desk lamp also have adjustable shades. Together they create a quality feel – something I hope you’ll experience every time you turn them on."
