This frame fits with a picture that has dimensions 19⅝x27½" if you use it with the mat, and it fits with a picture that has dimensions 24x35⅞" if you choose to use the frame without the mat.
The mat will not turn yellow since it is acid-free.
Screws for wall mounting not included. Different wall materials require different fixing devices, use devices suitable for your walls. IKEA recommends ALFTA adhesive hook. 2 ALFTA hooks needed.

Good value but inaccurate sizingJesseThe frames themselves are a great price. However, the online diagram doesn't make it clear what the actual inset size is. The actual visible area is a half inch shorter than stated which is an issue if you want to show the entire art piece. I spent the last couple hours cutting down the several frames I ordered to the actual size.

Other than that they are nice. Though, fair warning the plastic covering attracts fur and hair. Electrostatic forces make this inevitable. Do not have pets in the room when you are putting your pictures in or you will be taking everything down to remove cat hair.

Now i have to to drive over an hour to return in person. Overall, the frames feel flimsy and I wouldn't buy again. Recommend if others buy, go in store and check them out first to make sure no issues. Loved the way they looked and the color of the walnut frame but it was not meant to be.

The glue was a short-term fix and the frame just fell off my wall and broke in half. I wish Ikea had a better return policy, because I would have liked to replace this rather than try to glue it in the first place.

“Hanging something on the wall is a simple trick when you want to create a more homely feel or tie the interior in a room together,” says Andreas Fredriksson, the designer behind RÖDALM, a family of frames in different sizes, colors and wood expressions.

” We have also reinforced the back of RÖDALM to make it durable and prevent the frame from warping. That’s good if you change addresses often or enjoy refurnishing,” explains Andreas. He believes the pictures people hang on their walls can give clues about their lives and who they are, but how you choose to frame them can also be revealing. ” I enjoy creating collages using frames in various sizes and styles on a small wall surface, for example, old ornate flea market frames together with a modern frame like RÖDALM.” Then, the actual motif becomes less important, and a simple brushstroke on a beautiful piece of paper can be enough. “In the end, what’s important is not necessarily what you choose to hang on your walls, but that you put something up that feels like you.”

What is fibreboard?
Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
