Transformed my dining space. MichaelI have to say, this lamp is adorable! I originally came in for a paper lamp, but sold out, i spotted this lamp yesterday at Ikea Costa Mesa and, I thought “Hmm, this is super cute “, even though the color turquoise isn’t quite my favorite color, But I decided to go for it anyway, and to my surprise, I ended up loving the color! The only little hiccup was that the fabric of the lampshade was a tad loose, i ended buying a different fabric and color and had it made, and it turned out fantastic! I still have a soft spot for the original shade color, and I might use it once in a while. I bought it with the click on/off plug, Overall, this lamp really brings such a cozy and warm vibe to any room. I'm in love with it! Completely transformed my dining space. Please make it in Cream. 🤗
Why can’t IKEA recommend proper light?KarenI had to read through the reviews to figure out that I bought the wrong light kit for this shade. Nice shade BUT we can’t illuminate it with the kit we thought would work. Huge disappointment.
Like it but a few obstacles BaileyI really like this lamp but two caveats I find frustrating are 1) the rods in the middle, holding up the central light, do not stay together no matter how hard I tried to notch them into place. I had to super glue them so they don’t keep falling out, and 2) I’m disappointed IKEA doesn’t provide a hanging cord option for this, and that they only provide a tandem pendant ceiling fixture. I tried their Strala cord to hang it from a ceiling hook but the light fixture is too small, and slips through socket.
I like the look of it but it provided too many obstacles to really love it.

Cozy lightMioInitially hesitant to purchase this lamp shade due to the mixed reviews, but so glad that I did. Heads up it's compatible with the havsris cord set if you want to just hang it from a ceiling hook! What a cute & cozy addition to the home :)
Assembly is frustratingJiaIt's not too hard to figure out how to assemble, but like other comments mentioned, if using it as a ceiling light, you have to either assemble on top of a ladder, or with the light bulb lowered then hang up once finished. Changing a light bulb will involve loosening and re-tightening a drawstring which takes ~5 minutes. It looks OK when turned off but when turned on the light is not diffused well due to all the wrinkles, and the colored (turquoise) shade gives the room an odd vibe no matter using warm or white lights.

Confusing names but nice lampKarenThere are at least two lamps with this name and when we got home, we discovered that this was not in the shape we had preferred. Rather than take it back and experience the 45 minute line that Ikea deliberately creates to discourage returns, we kept it. We now like the lamp and found it was easy to put together and install. To make it easier to turn on and off, we added a device at the wall outlet with a remote for on-off.
regnskur lamp shadeNicii love the way this looks- it gives off the same light as the paper lanterns, but looks a bit nicer. i would suggest having a second person around to get the fabric over the frame easier, but it's very simple to put together.
