Worst bed we've ever owned EmilyThis washable upholstery is great in theory, absolutely impossible to install. We even separated the panels to ease the tension but it is impossible to cover. The end result when using tools like screwdrivers and butter knives to help ease it into place is a lumpy messy untailored look that reveals the parts beneath. I can't emphasize enough how physical of a task this is. We've tried everything since the first time covering it 2 years ago and can't wait to replace it. This is totally unsuitable to be removed and washed even on an annual basis. The rest of the bed is typical of Ikea, a workhorse, but a little squeaky.1

Great bed for the priceStephanieGot this yesterday and put it together for my 10 yo son. For the price this is a great bed. We did have to go back to the store because one of the boxes had a defective piece. But the second box was perfect. The fabric cover is difficult to stretch onto the bed and if you have weak hands of arthritis, I can see this being extremely difficult to install. For me, it took about 15 mins of stretching it. Well worth it for a great looking bed. 4
Cover is too smallAnonymous reviewerThe bed is nice, but the cover is too small on one on side and there is almost no stretch, so it took me probably an hour to try to stretch it over the bed. I bought it for the washable cover, but I can't imagine I'll ever take it off to wash it because it will be nearly impossible to put back on. God forbid it shrinks in the wash.3
