Stylish. Doesnt rock well. Mixed comfort. Anonymous reviewerLove the look.
Easy to assemble.
But it doesn’t rock that well. It’s awkward.
Back contour is nice however the head rest part is uncomfortable. Top of my spine hits it and I’m average height. Overall sit leaning too far back too. For the price, not great.
Materials seem nice though the wood is a bit rough. I dont plan on keeping this else I’d probably lightly sand the wood. 2
Comfortable chair out of the boxDanielleI'm using this as a computer chair, so I did need to add some support. However the chair itself is sturdy and almost more comfortable than our couch! 4
Wobbly and falling apart after 4 months IrynaDo yourself a favor and buy something else. While we like Ikea furniture and this chair looks cute, the quality of this one is bad. It barely rocks and it became wobbly after 4 months. I wish we could returned it, it was a waste of money. 1
ComfortableRolfQuite comfortable when slightly rocking while watching TV.5
Breastfeeding Rocker A+KurtisI am nursing our fourth baby and had terrible back and leg pain. I was slumping in our old Target rocking chair. I purchased this rocker and it has great back support. The first time I sat in it with my infant, my back popped right after I stood up. My only complaint is that I am 5’ 4” and the headrest is in an awkward spot. If you’re over 5’ 6” it would sit right in the crook of your neck, which I think would be very comfy. I will be purchasing the flat seat to replace this one soon - it’s worth it. 5

Difficulty in AssemblyAmalinIt has been such a pain to put this chair together. When attempting to put the legs on, the screws are not matching up with the holes on the seat. We got one leg on but cannot get all of the screws to line up on the other leg. Has anyone had this issue?1
Doesn’t rock wellChristineLove the look. Chair is comfortable. But the design does not allow much movement and I did buy to rock a baby. I think I get more movement from my original Poang chair. 2
Defective AmitTwo of the bars that go across the back are missing the silver bits that let you screw the bars to the side supports. No way to screw them together without them. Now I get to repackage the whole thing and drag the whole thing back along with the ottoman and cushions.

Comfy rockerJulieFor the price, this is a very comfortable and nice looking rocking chair, and it wasn’t too hard to put together!5
Comfy but doesn’t really rockLisaThis chair is really comfortable. I’m 5’2” and the lumbar support and headrest are perfect! Other friends who are taller also find it very comfortable. The only thing is it doesn’t really rock. I would’ve bought the less expensive regular chair if I had known. Also the bottom of the arm can hit your ankle and can be painful. Great as a chair but doesn’t rock. A little disappointed but looks great!4
Hard floors only!GailIt looked nice, was easy to assemble, was comfortable, felt sturdy and was roomy. Sadly, I returned it because it wouldn't rock on my carpeting.2
Better than StresslessMatthewI bought this to replace my norweigan Stressless chair and it’s beyond better. I don’t care for the normal poang, it’s gonna snap, lol (I know, the robot thing that pushes on it says it won’t). Will be buying a second for home.5
It doesn't rock at allJenniferI was excited and expected a decent rocking chair for the price of over $250. But It BARELY rocks. I'm so sad by this purchase. I feel like SOMETHING has to be wrong or defective with the amount it doesn't move. But no, it's just how it is. If you want a decent rocking chair this is not the one. I just can't describe the disappointment when I sat down 9 months pregnant with the image of rocking my baby and then a borderline painful, jarring rocking experience ensued. Don't buy this. You will be dissatisfied. I am 5'3”1
Gift for MomChristinaShe absolutely loves this chair! As someone who is petite it's hard for to gind comfortable seating where she can actually relax.5
I liked that it wasKwonI liked that it was very comfortable. However, if the seating area were more comfortable, it would feel much more comfortable.5
Rocking chairHelenEasy assembly and very comfortable.5
Great chairsPaulAwesome chairs, the rocker is better than the original. Wish the leather cushions were still available but still very comfortable and well built5
Comfortable and affordable rocking chairSusanComfortable and affordable rocking chair, the Poang is well designed, looks great in the living room and is reasonably easy to put together.5
Surprisingly better than what I though it would beTiffanyI attempted to assemble by myself and almost had it. Hubby stepped in for the last few screws as I somehow had 2 in the wrong place. It finished up fast after that was figured out. The instruction pages are good enough but could have been better. The wood feels a little 'thin' but it is holding weight (275 lb tested so far). Nothing cracked or split! The cushion looks a little thin but over all its actually comfortable enough. I needed this to fit in a small corner in a room and the size is what I needed as well as a mid-century type of look. Checks all the boxes. I think the quality will hold up well. Scandinavian minimalist but sturdy. The yellow is brighter than I wanted but toned down with a comfy afghan.5
