The frames are made of layer-glued bentwood which is a very strong and durable material.
An armchair with a comfortable resilience and a high back that provides nice support for your neck, combined with a footstool to rest your feet on – a perfect place for you to relax.
The cushions are covered with the dope-dyed fabric Gunnared – a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a mélange effect.
The tufted design of the cushions gives your armchair and footstool an elegant character and ensures that they retain their plushness and softness without you needing to fix the cushions.
A range of various seat cushions makes it easy to renew the look of your POÄNG and prolong the lifetime of your pieces of furniture so you can enjoy them for many years to come.

sit before buyWinI bought this few months ago. ottoman is nice but the head rest area is a problem, that made it for tall man not for small guy like (5 feet 7). sitting this chair for whole day has no issue except I put a little pillow as cusion so my neck get rest. Otherwise that bother me alot.

very comfyMonikaMy parents had chairs like this for over 20 years and I always loved their comfort. When it was time to replace reclining chairs, this was the best replacement. Adding ottoman make is very easy to relax and even take a nap. The other plus is that covers can be replaced anytime.
Perfect For Our Sitting Area BrendaThe armchair, rocking chair, and two ottomans have made the perfect addition to our sitting area. We needed something with minimal cloth surfaces because of our four cats. We did have to add blankets to protect the cushions, but those are easily removed when we want to sit and relax.

Beware the edges of the wood!RobertWhile assembling the chairs I got a long and very painful sliver of wood in my hand. The edges were very poorly finished. As we all know nothing is made as well as it was 10 years ago, but this terrible. I returned the chair.
Terrible assembly JohnI’ve always wanted one of these chairs.
Attempting to assemble multiple of the screws didn’t not thread properly into their receptacles.
I had to drill out several of the openings where the screws go in order be able to line them up correctly.
Multiple of the receptacles stripped out so I have several spots on the chair that are not fastened which causes it to sway side to side.
For the amount I paid I would have expected better materials used in the construction.
Save your money and go buy a lay-z-boy or something from bobs discount furniture.
