This mattress has the same, smooth surface on both sides. You can easily turn it over if you like. The cover can be wiped off.
Child-safe zipper prevents children from opening the mattress cover.

Extendable bedDianaBought this to go with the Minnen bed frame that is also extends, grows with child. I like that you can just take pieces off to make the shorter size. The only reason I am not rating 5 stars, is due to the stiffness of it.

A good choice for a kids bedLindseyThis mattress allowed us to build a bard that was the right size for our daughters. The girls love the bed but the mattress may seem a bit thin for a larger child or adult.
