Pretty But DarkBarbaraI was very attracted to this in the store under the very bright lights. Once I got it home, I could see that it was pretty dark and made the room look small. I think the yellow needs to be more vibrant. I’m thinking about putting sparkle paint in places to emphasize different parts of the painting. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stand well on its own like the pink cabbage rose canvas that IKEA sold months ago and that I love very much. I think the concept of this painting is great but again too dark even in a bright room. I will experiment with it maybe with a pallet knife, though I am not an artist. I think it would be fun.3

Van GoghDebbieExactly as expected and perfect for what we needed.5
Nice piece of art!DanielThis is a great addition to Ikea's art selection available. I have always wanted this so picked it up for my sisters new home. It could have a little more support on the back of the framing.5
Great ReproductionBillI bought the previous one and had to assemble it myself. It wasn't a total disaster but not far from it. The new one is already assembled. I have it posted over my bed, it gives me the feeling that I am sleeping under the stars. I love it. I would like to see Ikea get more of the classic paintings.5
Can GoughCristinaReally pretty, one of my favorite pieces 5
Beautiful and a bargainMelanieFor such an iconic painting - the price was a pleasant bonus. 5

Looks great in my son’s bedroom! JillWe were updating my 13 year old son’s bedroom and searching for some new wall art. This is a wrapped canvas print, it was easy to hang and looks so nice. Great price, too! 5
Wonderful Replica!!!DavidAbout the products, it’s a wonderful replica of Van Gogh “Starry Night“. While it’s a digital print on, what looks and feels a bit like vinyl or canvas you can still clearly see the brushstrokes as well as get a sense of the torment in Van Gogh when he painted it. The print is already stretched around a wooden frame, which is great, because all you really have to do is hang it.
An aside, I lived in New York, one of the benefits of being a high school student was you got to go to museums for free and, it just so happens the original of this painting is on display at the museum of modern art. The first time I encountered this painting, I could not stand and look at it for any more than a second or even directly on because of how violent the breast strokes carve into the paint (if you get a chance to see the original, you’ll understand what I mean). It took me almost a year of passing by the painting before I could actually stand in front and look at it.5
