Beautiful canvas printKristinI saw this in the store and did a double take. So vivid--it looked like embroidery. I had to touch it to see that it was a print. But it was cheap and I loved it, especially the horse, so I bought it and hung it up. It needs bright light to bring out the color, and I wish I had a colored wall to put it on, but even on my off-white walls, it is a lovely bit of cheer. So glad I bought it and hope Ikea makes more of this style.5

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
