Effective instructionsBethInstructions were effective, it was quite a task to put it together. But works very well for my husband‘s clothing and medical equipment.
Perfect space saverTamikaOur home is small and we needed something in the entryway to hold coats/jackets, umbrellas, hats, shoes and a place to sit without taking up too much space. This was all of that and more. It's great for our elementary school children to place their bagbacks when they first come home while sitting and taking off their shoes and/or jackets. It's sturdy so it holds everything we need it too and it's not too bulky. You can also get a pillow/cushion (that you would put on patio furniture for the bench) to make it more comfortable and change the look of it. You can paint it as well. Very simple to put together without taking too much time. Great buy. Great price. Highly recommend it.
Solid and does the job KateSpent hours researching a hall tree but ended up going with this one due to the reviews. Looks great and holds a lot. I put most of it together solo which was annoying because it involved balancing pieces and trying to keep them aligned. It wasn’t difficult, though, and didn’t take too much time.

Almost PerfectJessicaEasy to put together & sturdy. It's exactly what we need for sports equipment & backpacks in our garage. The one issue is the feet are not adjustable. Our 30+ year old garage floor is not level, so I cannot attach the rack to the wall without the front legs coming slightly off the floor.

Great entry benchAprilAbsolutely love the bench and coat rack. Was easy to put together and is very sturdy. Only issue was missing instructions but luckily it's easy to find the instructions online.
EfficientCaitlinWe have an entryway that needed something extra. After looking for cheap mudroom-style bench/coat rack combos, I finally just picked up a Pinnig. Setup was incredibly easy. Pro tip: while IKEA gives you all the proper tools, I still tightened everything with an impact. My only complaint is that I didn’t automatically buy two units. One unit is full holding two peoples’ warm fluffy coats, rain coats, work bags, and our dogs’ sweaters. Two units would fit all this comfortably, plus leave space to actually use the bench to put on shoes.
Excellent Storage solutionDestinyThis fits wonderfully in my entry way and solves my storage issues. The bench allows for a place to put on shoes or hold packages as I am coming in. It fits 6 pairs of adult shoes on the two shelves and holds 6 jackets on the hooks.
POOR Quality Threads - bolts don’t screw in smoothly. Internal components cross thread or jamPatrickReally disappointed with the assembly of this. It should have been simple but the little plastic threads inside the rods have a tendency to cross-thread with the screw bolts.
I’ve already wasted too much time assembling this. My thumbs are sore and I’m wondering if I’ll be forced to exchange it at the ikea warehouse in order to get a fully assembled version.
sturdy and usefulReneThis wasn't too time-consuming to put together and seems sturdy. It fits a lot of shoes and a reasonable amount of coats/scarfs/bags/etc., has handled the weight of our stuff just fine so far.

We love this great productSallyBefore we moved we picked up another one for our house here. It fits great in our garage where we keep some of our coats for quick and easy access. Like our raincoats, and my running jackets. And we store our yard work and hiking shoes there. Along with small containers of winter gloves, hats and scarves .
