read before you buyRubyI love plants and have several in my home and so when I saw this palm tree and for the price it was a no brainer (this was also my first time buying a plant from IKEA). However, as time passed browning on the leaves started to occur .. slowly the plant wasn’t becoming full anymore and realized SPIDERMITES were taking over and these little flies that grow from moist soil were also flying everywhere in the house! It filled up my two zevos I have in the home! This not only killed my palm tree but my 4 other plants. I’ve never experienced something like this with my other 7 plants. I’m forever scarred to buy another plant from here again. I know they look so beautiful when you see them yet the concerns for the care of these plants before buying them I feel are neglected. An idea to get a dedicated plant team to actually care for the plants or just don’t sell plants at all!

Complaint about Areca Palm QualityGulyaimI purchased this Areca Palm just a week ago, and almost all of the leaves have already dried out and turned yellow. Despite following the recommended care instructions, the plant deteriorated very quickly.
This is especially disappointing because this is the second Areca Palm I’ve bought from IKEA in the last 3–4 months, and both plants developed the same problem. This makes me think the issue is with the quality or condition of the plants at the store, not the care at home.
I would appreciate a replacement or refund, as the product clearly did not meet reasonable expectations.
