Chair brokeKatieLike many reviews have stated, we had a chair break. We have 8 of these chairs. Disappointed to see that this is a common problem. I like these chairs ok, but I wish it was more a a slick plastic to clean easier.
Cute chairMariaConfortable, offers great back support. Roomy seat that accommodates big bottoms. Simple to assemble. However, it took me forever to cut down all the cardboard.
Cats don't scratch them!Anonymous reviewerWe have a lot of cats, so I can't have upholstered chairs without them being ruined. The Odger chairs are used at our kitchen table and I've had 4 of them since 2021. I see newer reviews about them breaking, but I haven't had any issue with this. I hope that they are still being made the same as the 2021 models, especially with the price increase ($50 more per chair). These are comfortable and are very easy to clean.

They Break!ChelsaWe've had eight of these chairs for almost three years and have loved them. The other day though my daughter sat on one and a large piece of the seat completely busted off. She's a thin girl and it shocked us how easily it broke. It's sharp and unusable now. I tried reaching out to customer support and they were not willing to replace or even offer a discount on a replacement chair. So disappointing! For the price, the chair definitely should have lasted longer than 3 years! Hopefully our other chairs hold up!
Great lookGeorgeThe chairs are comfortable to sit in for a longer time and you don't need a sear cushion. Assembling was very easy and quick. In my opinion, the chairs are on the expensive side for a simple piece of plastic.
Love this chair but $$$CarlinI really love this chair, we have 3 of them and would like to get another but this price is crazy! They started at $69 and we bought our last 2 for around $90 each and now 125? This is a mostly plastic chair! Please reduce the price and add back the darker brown color.
Great, until they breakSonjaWe’ve had a set of these for about couple of years. I’ve loved them, but I just had the whole front corner break off underneath me while at the table. Just about sent me to the floor. We’ve treated them very well, but based on other reviews I see, it definitely seems like there’s a problem with the material for these chairs.
two broken in less than a year :(ChristineWe bought four of these chairs for our dining room. Two of them have now broken. I was really excited that these chairs were made of recycled material and they looked great. The two that broke, broke in the same way--when people were sitting, normally, in them, a shard snapped off an edge. Definitely not worth the money for it to break so easily and to barely last a year :( super disappointed.

Broke in less than two yearsAnonymousIt’s too bad, because we love these chairs. They are comfortable with a pad to sit on, great shape, modern but they look nice with our antique wood table. They seemed really sturdy, but the corner of the seat broke off during normal use. There’s never been any excessive weight placed on the chairs. They’ve never been used outside or exposed to any extreme temperatures. Now a huge shard has broken off and the chair is impossible to repair and use. I’m frustrated my super cute chair is headed to the landfill. I actually came to the website to see if they had the chairs at my IKEA so I could replace it. I was stunned to see that the price had increased significantly. I went through the reviews and found that many people are having the exact problem with the chairs breaking. I regret this purchase, as now I’m thinking it’s only a matter of time before the other chair we bought breaks. Don’t waste your money on this. Terrible waste.
Cool and ComfortableArnieUnique shape, they are actually comfortable and easy to assemble. Love the color and texture (although it can feel a bit sandy). Wish they made them in matching bar stools or similar.

Love this chair - but beware...CarrieI bought two of these chairs for a 30" counter in the kitchen. They look great, are stylish and very comfortable. They tuck perfectly away when not being used. I work from this counter and sit in the chair daily and never get uncomfortable. I noticed some of my cotton type shorts/pants have started "pilling" in the seat area. Had no idea why..... until I realized it's the chair. The surface of the chair is not smooth and is catching the threads of my pants. Now I have a chair pad, so this should solve the problem.
Broken!JenniferWhen we bought these one was broken at delivery in the box they did replace that one. Now it’s a year later and one just broke (whole side) when my 110lb friend sat down, in the SAME place the other one had broken in the box. I’m so disappointed and apparently you only get 6 months warranty. So I have the choice of spending $125 for a new one or buy four new chairs. What a racket. Clearly this is happening to tons of people. Buyer beware because for $500 these four chairs should last more than a year!!!!
