Thanks to the click-clack mechanism, this sofa quickly and easily converts into a spacious bed when you pull the underframe upwards and fold down the backrest.

The cover doesn’t need to be removed when you change function from sofa to bed, and back.

The space under the sofa is designed to fit storage boxes where you can store bed linen, etc.

Choose from different mattresses and a variety of covers to create your perfect combination.

Extra covers to alternate with mean it's easy to give both your sofa and room a new look.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

FutonWendyThis is a good couch for our son's room that sits up for watching tv and opens flat easily for sleeping. The tan cover is a pretty color. Some of the pieces were forgotten during delivery. The store had them delivered for us the following week. I will keep using Draper IKEA they have amazing customer support.5

Surprisingly comfyJOEYVery sturdy, but also very comfortable. I find myself lying on it just to relax, rather than my main bed (that’s not from IKEA). The conversion to bed mechanism works pretty well. One thing to note: if you have it directly against a wall in couch mode, you’ll need to pull it away from the way before you go to bed mode. Also really like that you can get the covers separately and switch it out seasonally or whatever you want.5

Extremely pleased!LINDSYDue to working from home, we upgraded apartment sizes and wanted the option for the 2nd room (office) to also be able to be a guestroom. We went on searches for pullout couches, but everything was out of stock. We finally landed at ikea to test out our option and thought we'd end up with a convertible couch until we sat on the fouton. We were shocked at how comfortable it was (with the help of some throw pillows). And the price couldn't be beat. I highly recommend 2 people to put this together. Team work made it much easier. Also, watching a video of someone else putting it together helped make this a breeze. At the very end, we did find the kit was short 1 of the longer screws, but we're handy folks and have screws on hand at home that we're the same size so we substituted one of our own to finish the project. I've read others have had the same issue being short a screw, so be prepared. We've now had a friend stay over who tested it and said extremely comfortable (firm - but we added a 2 inch memory foam mattress topper to help). Easy to convert and we couldn't be happier- despite that we're in our later 30's with a fouton. Do what works for you!5

Don't waste your money on this!why do you ask nicknameI bought it last year, but the plastic parts holding the frame right under the mattress and supporting the legs are totally broken. Now, whenever I sit and lie down, the two frames above and below are not fixed to each other and make a crackling noise.1
Worked for awhileAflowersI purchased this in October of 2019. I've enjoyed it. I especially love the yellow color however, in June of 2020 one of the support woods snapped. I haven't been able to get into contact with anyone regarding a replacement as I'm still in the 365 day policy.3
