Product details

Made for 6 people, but easily has room for more since the table does not have any legs at the corners.

Every table is unique, with varying grain pattern and natural colour shifts that are part of the charm of wood.

The furniture is made of acacia, a naturally durable and sturdy hardwood because of the high density of its wood fibers.

The top’s slats form a decorative herringbone pattern with small openings where rainwater can run down, without the risk of your cutlery falling in between.

Only recommended for outdoor use.

Acacia has a rich brown color and distinctive grain pattern. It is highly durable, resistant to scratches and water, ideal for heavy-use. Acacia darkens slightly with age.

Possible to separate for recycling or energy recovery if available in your community.

The table may be combined with the timeless NORRMANSÖ or VASSHOLMEN chairs to make your outdoor space complete. Sold separately.

Care

The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly, not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary, and re-staining it on a regular basis.

Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.

Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.

Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.

For maintenance we recommend VÅRDA wood treatment oil.

Poor quality, did not last 3 months outsideTaylorI purchased this table in late April 2025. I am writing this review in early August 2025 and the table is already severely fade and warping. It seems to have lost some structural integrity as well. I recommend passing and putting the money toward something that will last. Very disappointing quality.1

Not suitable for outdoor useUnaThis table is not suited for normal use outside. The last few months of rain have caused the finish to degrade. The options would be to constantly keep it under a tarp when not in use, which is unattractive; or to refinish it once or twice a year, which defeats the purpose of an outdoor table.1

Nice Table That Needs To Be An Inch HigherSeanEverything about this table is great. Great quality. My gripes are the vague instructions on step 1 and the table needs to be an inch taller so you can push in chairs.4
Poor qualityKindraI love the way this table looks and it initially appeared to be of good quality but within six months one piece of wood right in the middle of the table curled up. This despite the fact that the table is in the shade and I oiled it monthly. Presumably the wood wasn't dried properly. Ikea refused to place the piece of wood or the table or offer any instructions on how one might replace the piece of wood themselves since it ruins the table. 1

Beautiful Wood Table and long.JeanThis is my first time buying a wood table for the outside. I am not sure how long it will last or how to take care of it, but it is beautiful. I looks like solid wood. The table fits three chairs on each side. Not sure about the ends for the eight people because the legs go to the end of the table. I purchased the Costco stackable chairs that are metal for outside. They look nice and I am pretty sure any set of chairs will be fine.5
