Poor quality, did not last 3 months outsideTaylorI purchased this table in late April 2025. I am writing this review in early August 2025 and the table is already severely fade and warping. It seems to have lost some structural integrity as well. I recommend passing and putting the money toward something that will last. Very disappointing quality.1
Not an outdoor table JennifeerrIf ikea wants to classify this as an outdoor table they may want to invest in better varnish and stain. This didn’t even last a summer outside for me. I am horribly disappointed. It’s otherwise the perfect table and just what I was looking for but within 3 months I am now going to have to refinish it and well before I should have ever had to. 1
Stylish table seats 8MonaWith the wood in herringbone manner it is a wonderful stylish table. Assembly was not the easiest with the angled feet, but I finished it on my own in about 30min. 5
Wonderful TableBethanyGreat table. Very solid. Can fit 8 people comfortably. It’s wood, sun and rain will damage if not protected when not in use. I purchased an elastic table top cover off Amazon and kept that on it when not planning on using it. Held up great OUTSIDE through hot summer and snowy winter while covered. 5

does not last more than a few monthsShellyLoved this table for one summer. Kept it covered and still looks awful less than a year later. I asked customer service and they basically said "not our problem." Very disappointed in IKEA and the product. Do not buy this table unless you plan to use it inside (which is weird- its a patio table).1

Not suitable for outdoor useUnaThis table is not suited for normal use outside. The last few months of rain have caused the finish to degrade. The options would be to constantly keep it under a tarp when not in use, which is unattractive; or to refinish it once or twice a year, which defeats the purpose of an outdoor table.1
Beautiful table ShalynThe table has been sitting in the backyard for about 3 months now and is holding up to the weather and sunshine really great. Still looks brand new! We are very please with how beautiful and functional this table has been. 5
Poor quality ElizabethThis table was not made to withstand rain and outdoor conditions. The stain and finish quickly deteriorated, we added several coats of spar varnish, but still it rotted. Very disappointing. 1
Nice Table That Needs To Be An Inch HigherSeanEverything about this table is great. Great quality.
My gripes are the vague instructions on step 1 and the table needs to be an inch taller so you can push in chairs.4
Poor qualityKindraI love the way this table looks and it initially appeared to be of good quality but within six months one piece of wood right in the middle of the table curled up. This despite the fact that the table is in the shade and I oiled it monthly. Presumably the wood wasn't dried properly. Ikea refused to place the piece of wood or the table or offer any instructions on how one might replace the piece of wood themselves since it ruins the table. 1

Beautiful Wood Table and long.JeanThis is my first time buying a wood table for the outside. I am not sure how long it will last or how to take care of it, but it is beautiful. I looks like solid wood. The table fits three chairs on each side. Not sure about the ends for the eight people because the legs go to the end of the table. I purchased the Costco stackable chairs that are metal for outside. They look nice and I am pretty sure any set of chairs will be fine.5
