Care
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
To increase the stability of your furniture, re-tighten the screws at least once per season.

QC issues and hard to cleanAnonymous reviewerOverall, this is a reasonably nice table. The design is minimalist and attractive, and it feels quite sturdy given the relatively lean design. However, I'm docking one stars for the following reasons
1. My table came with a warped support piece for table top. It was far too warped for the item to be assembled. This being a wood product, this is in and of itself forgivable. What's not forgivable is Ikea's policy for rectigying the situation. This table must be picked up from the warehouse, not the main store. However, I was required to bring back the warped piece to the main store then go to the warehouse to retrieve the replacement. I should have been sent a new on by mail rather than needing to spend over an hour driving around to replace one piece.
2. I'm docking another star because this table is quite hard to clean. Food gets between the slats and is very tedious to remove.
Nice table, questionable long-term qualityMichelleThis table assembled pretty easily. It looks nice and seats about three on each side. People could sit on the end if they're not worried about the cross bar on the floor. One of the support boards was warped and so we had trouble getting in one of the screws. But it didn't seem to matter leaving it out. I doubt this will last well outside over more than a season or two, but we are hopeful.

Awesome Large TableGaryExcellent large outdoor dining table capable of seating six. Clean and sturdy design with minimal footprint. Fit and finish is excellent with easy assembly and light enough to move around the deck as desired.
good looking & affordableKatherineThis table looks great and fulfills a function. The design is nice. The cushions are cheap and I basically had to buy better cushions and pillows for the back. I will be nervous if a friend who weighs more than 185 lbs sits in one of these chairs. For the price I'm happy. Its Ikea so I don't have tons of faith that it will stand the test of time.
