Care
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
To increase the stability of your furniture, re-tighten the screws at least once per season.

Very small umbrella holeMattThe table has a hole for an umbrella, but it will only fit the smallest umbrella poles. Now we need to buy a special drill bit to add a larger hole to the table, and it won't be stained / finished. I wish they had specified that it was a hole for only small umbrellas.

Great outdoor tableJoshThis was a great set. Unfortunately it didn’t fit on my 12x12 deck with all the chairs. It was easy to put together and take apart myself while my wife watched and drank wine. Ikeas return policy was very easy as well.
Small patio furnitureCatherineI absolutely love my table and bench! It fits perfectly in the small space I have. I put it together by myself (I’m 70yrs) . It’s beautiful wood and I will be sure to oil it every year to keep the wood in good shape. Although it under a roofed patio it will be exposed to rain at one end. I haven’t had it long enough to know how well it will hold up from exposure of periodic rain. I do plan on finding a cover for it for winter months.!

It’s a very sturdy table and the quality is great for the price. It took about 20 minutes to put together alone and it’s not heavy at all. “We want NÄMMARÖ to be easy to both take home and live with,” says product developer Anders Adler. He and the development team found a part of the solution in a simple geometric shape – the square.
