“We designed a frame that looks like a square with small legs,” explains Anders. It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

Care
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
To increase the stability of your furniture, re-tighten the screws at least once per season.

Hard Recliner ChairKurtWe got 8 chairs for a large outdoor dining table. The seats are very hard and require the pads as essential. The folding triggers by pulling up on the arms, which also collapses / reclines the chair; this takes some getting used to and may startle your guests. They are also heavy and this makes them not so portable. Apart from these criticisms we love the chairs and Bondholmen table combos.

Unexpected surpriseTimFound 2 chairs in a shed we recently purchased on a lake. They had been neglected for God only knows how long. The stain and finish were in significant distress. So, dismantled one ,only to discover they had an IKEA stamp underneath. Glad I only took one apart, because assembly without instructions or a finished product to refer to would have been a nightmare. After a little time and elbow grease I've restored the chairs to their original condition (minus the stain). Now, with 2 new cushions I'm proud to say the chairs look as good as new. I look forward to having them as a staple on or deck for years to come.

Total failure - zero starsJoey MarieCould not be more disappointed. The wood has numerous deep flaws at points of stress and it's obvious the support pieces will fracture under even light use. But it won't matter because I can't assemble the chairs using the bolts sent with them. They're more than 1" too long, and the nuts are too small to go past the very tip of the bolt, so the bolts flop around, pieces won't stay together, and I can't even get past the 4th assembly point because of this. After waiting for more than an hour in the phone queue, my call was cut off, and the chat function has been trying to connect me for 4 hours now, still not connected. I give up. They are literally going to a donation station unassembled, still in the box. Maybe someone can make something with the wood.
Unless you have the will to deal with this level of nonsense, I'd suggest buying something higher quality -- plenty of that is available from other large retailers this season at same or lower prices.

Chairs look great DenniseWe purchased these chairs because they recline. Overall they look so nice and recline. However when you want to sit up and you move both of the arm rest it doesn’t always stay in place. They should have a safety feature for it to lock in place otherwise you can very easily move it without even trying.
