It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

Care
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
To increase the stability of your furniture, re-tighten the screws at least once per season.

QC Nightmare, Wobbly and Screws Don’t FitKierstenThe screws did not fit in the metal rods, down to the very end, make the piece loose and wobbly even after using a drill. The wood slats were crooked and made the instability even worse. Took forever to put together for a product that should take minutes. Not intuitively designed. Also, you’re still not using easy-peel stickers on all your furniture? Seems like a silly cent-saving measure. It’s annoying for the consumer. I work for a furniture company as Product Development closely with Quality Control, and let me tell you this piece is a QC nightmare. Whoever IKEA’s supplier is for this piece, they need to find a better one.

Looks good, frustrating to assembleCaitlinThis privacy screen looks as advertised, good quality, and matches the other nammaro outdoor furniture pieces. I wish it were a little taller/wider for the price, but I still like it. Putting it together felt way harder than it needed to be for the size and concept of the piece. It took about 30 minutes each and two people to turn the screws together at the same time. Would (and probably will) buy again, but not excited about about putting another one together.

not stable for outdoor use in high wind weatherYuanyuanIt was a pain to put it together which was fine, but the outcome was not perfect. Two issues - the feet are not screwed to the bottom. They rely on tension and gravity to be able to look like what's in the picture, meaning if you slide the "wall" down, the feet will come off. The other review says one will come off, but both of mine will come off. The second issue is that it is tiled a little bit, although not very noticeable.
I was expecting to put it in my balcony to create some privacy from my neighbor's balcony which is next door. However, the feet rely on tension and they're not heavy enough to hold this whole "wall" from falling, in high winds, for example. Therefore, I will use it indoor to create sections in living room. It looks good.
Works WellTaliciaGiving this four stars as putting this together was a pain, and I feel that the bottom feet are not fully secured since it relies on tension between the rods and isn't actually attached to anything. So far it's been fine, though, and I've added small casters to the bottom to easily move it around because I'm using it indoors. The width fits perfectly in doorways and the low frame of it means I'm able to wheel it around and block my cats from going where I don't want them.

Decent for the priceNaomiI ordered these to use as a cover for an outdoor shower as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately the slots are a little too big for any real sense of privacy.
Of course I wasn't expecting it to be a solid wall, but if the spaces were half the size, then it would be suitable for shielding from eyes, but it's pretty easy to see right through. I can deal with that by tossing over a beach towel or two.
However, the construction is inconsistent. The feet won't stay attached on one side as they rely on tension and something about the wood on that side won't provide enough tension for the feet to stay on, even when screwed tight. So when I pick it up it slides off. It's an annoyance but still functional and I can slide the foot back on. I may end up gluing it.
The other issue is one slat is bent, I made sure that bend is on the bottom so it is less noticeable. For the price, it's pretty good though. Construction was simple except for the one foot not staying on.
ChicKristineHuge fan of slatted wood and these are sturdy and super stylish way to filter out the neighbors- I imagine they will sell quickly so go ahead and get! Assembly is easy but a pain with all the small pieces, but that is expected. There is not a center rod but small plastic pieces that go in-between each slat giving the appearance of a rod. The wood is pieced together from scrap pieces, but can't really see from a distance. Got 2 - one is not completely flush and strait, but the other is perfect. Stain is a nice warm brown and not too red or light.
