It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

Good looking, solid, but incorrect bolt lengthDonaldThe bench is solid and looks nice, and it goes well with the Nammaro deck chairs and table. The assembly process, however, is defective, as others have noted: Step 1 is impossible to complete, as the provided bolts are too short. This is an easy fix on Ikea's part -- just provide slightly longer bolts. To date, Ikea has not done this! Wake up please.
Well made and long lastingHenryI ordered the Nammaro bench 3 years ago - I live in coastal SC where we have hot summers w/ high humidity. The bench sits on a covered front porch but is still exposed to the elements year round. It has endured beautifully but I will admit it could use a fresh coat of stain. Regardless, it holds up well and I have found that ours holds more than the suggested weight. We have had 2 people sitting on the bench at the same with a total weight of approximately 525 lbs - held the weight w/o issue. Was easy to assemble w/ just the hubby putting it together. Very pleased and I am ordering a chair to match. I have ordered many items from Ikea over the years and have never experienced an issue - we've gone thru moving across country. All furniture have handled it perfectly! I only wish Ikea was closer for me - will continue to order from Ikea. You have a long time customer - thank you for offering good quality, w/ style at reasonable pricing! A+

Can't get past Instruction #1 -- screw too short.Anonymous reviewerThe first thing the instructions direct you to do is to use the middle-sized screw (of the three sizes provided) and join two pieces of the bench together. Problem is that the screw is too short! I had to go to the hardware store and spend $10 on a new set of (longer) screws. Aggravating, to say the least, although I did get the bench put together. It is solid.
Impossible to assemblePamelaI thought this would be a good addition to my garden. With the help of 3 people I have still not been able to assemble it. The mid-size bolts seem to be too short, but they are the ones called mid-sized and are supposed to be used for what we are doing. It's also on the chintzy side, but what did I expect for under $100. I don't want to hire someone to assemble it.I would not buy this again. I've put many other Ikea pieces together with minimal difficulty. This is my rubicon.
Love this benchBich ThuyI thought I'd have to buy cushions for this but it is very comfortable without them. It was fairly simple and fast to put together. I love the look. The size is perfect for my small deck. I like that it gives tons of room for one person but can still seat two people. It is sturdy but lightweight and it is easy to move. I find I spend lots of comfortable hours on my deck now that I have this bench. Currently it is my only seating for the deck. I plan on getting two more.

Pretty easy build, good qualityCindyIt was a pretty easy build, just make sure you read the instructions & diagrams properly & don't skim like I do lol. Chair is good quality & sturdy, looks nice, & is pretty nice to sit in. Only other Ikea furniture I had before this was the Malm dresser that left a mess during unpackaging & building, but the Nammaro sets are pretty clean, which is a good plus (it's bc Malm has a lot of particle board).
