Seat cushions filled with high-resilience foam and polyester fiber wadding provide great seating comfort.
These wooden legs give MORABO sofa and armchair a warm and natural look.
The contact surfaces are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have BOMSTAD, a coated fabric that has a similar look and feel to leather.
Removable armrests make it easy to add on a chaise lounge.

Best sofa of all timeKittyMy sister has owned this sofa for over a decade and I’ve been sleeping on hers on holidays for the better part of 5 years. So when I moved and my new living room was able to accommodate this size sofa…I bought the exact same sofa- color and all- and I couldn’t be happier.
She’s a bit firm right out of the box but the cushions settle nicely within a day or two of normal use. Also my 13yo dog loves it, he rates it a 10/10 for naps and lounging.

Comfortable sofa for the most part KristinI Just wish the back cushions weren’t so stiff. Hopefully they will soften up in time like the seat cushions did. We replaced the legs which I like much better than the original legs.
About to buy my 3rd MoraboJayI bought my first Morabo sofa 12 years ago. When I moved into my current house 7 years ago I added the smaller "love seat". Both have been used daily. We even have two dogs that regularly sit on the couch with us. Now our daughter is leaving the nest and we're giving her the loveseat for her first apartment. I can afford about any couch or sectional out there but we decided we'd get another full size Morabo to replace the loveseat. We like the comfort, the classic modern look and the overall value.

My 10 year old MoraboKerrieI am posting this to honor my Morabo set-just over 10 years old now- for anyone considering this sofa and concerned about how it holds up over time. It has held up beautifully, through two teens, a dog, and daily use. It literally has no scratches or stains, just normal wear and softening, and is still incredibly comfortable. It is still timeless in style. We moved and have to downsize, so I am saying goodbye and it will go to live with my daughter and her family. But, this has been a great purchase and I would not hesitate to go with Morabo.

Morano sofaAlI was not sure I would buy an IKEA sofa…. You always think… cheap…. Let me tell you… the quality of this sofa is incredible. I have a West Elm sofa and the quality of the IKEA sofa is superior. Great job IKEA!
Cheap leather....CaroleHonestly, I didn't expect top of the line leather, but did expect it to be as good as in the past.
We recently purchased, and returned a Poang because the quality wasn't up to par with our older model.
What I'd tell you right off the bat with this sofa, if you have animals, don't buy it. Period.
The Poang has had cats in and out of it for several years and not one hole. A few minor scratches, as would be expected, but we've cared for it and the scratches cover well.
This sofa (and the chair both) have been in our house less than two months and there are holes in one of the arms. We can see to the padding underneath. Very thin leather. Cats with trimmed claws did that.
My husband repaired the chair, but I don't know if we'll bother with the sofa. I really wanted this set, and now I regret it.
I've read that IKEA plans to cut costs to make things more affordable. I'd rather pay more and have the quality of the past. No more IKEA furniture for us.
Fabric scratchedRachaelThe couch has been in a brand new (empty) rental for less than a week and already has a deep scratch in the leather. Leather is thin/ cheap to be scratched that deeply with barely any use, nor any people living in the house.
8/10 TaylorMY husband and I bought this couch nine months ago when we moved. We would agree that the floor model we sat on was softer than how the couch feels now but it may just take time to get there. Overall, we have been pleased with the look and quality for the price. We also have the two stand alone chairs that match and have enjoyed the look of the set.
A year later!ChristenI purchased this a year ago for $950 for my first apartment. This sofa is so classy and comfortable. I've fallen asleep on it many times. My boyfriend is 6'3" and comfortably fits on it. My guests who sleep over have confirmed that it is comfy and cozy. I love it so much that when I move into a bigger place in the future, I'll buy the matching sectional! After a year of regular use, it still looks new. However, I do condition the leather once a month to keep the leather in good shape!
Doesn't Come With LegsJohnWhen I unboxed this couch at home there were no legs included, despite it being listed as an included part on the website. I tried to go through Ikea support but I was told I would have to buy them separately for $20. When I told them that the website says they are included, I was told that the website was incorrect and needed to be updated. I guess I need to return the couch or pay $20 for a completed couch.

Great sofaElizabethWe like it. We have friends who have had two white ones for years and they have held up very well. So we decided to get one in grey. It’s comfortable sturdy and good looking. We wanted a more modern look and it fits the bill. Reasonable price even if on the high side. It was surprisingly heavy and took three of us to get it upstairs. I do wish the grey was a light grey but it will do. I also got grey to help it stay clean longer than say white, tan, etc.. I would recommend it. Got 5% off with my ikea card.
Solid and comfyBrendaThe sofa required no assembly except for screwing in the legs and placing the cushions on the sofa. It's firm and comfortable and looks exactly as photographed.
