Product details

Seat cushions filled with high-resilience foam and polyester fiber wadding provide great seating comfort.

These legs in chrome-plated steel give MORABO sofa and armchair a modern and glossy look.

The contact surfaces are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have BOMSTAD, a coated fabric that has a similar look and feel to leather.

Removable armrests make it easy to add on a chaise lounge.

A year later!ChristenI purchased this a year ago for $950 for my first apartment. This sofa is so classy and comfortable. I've fallen asleep on it many times. My boyfriend is 6'3" and comfortably fits on it. My guests who sleep over have confirmed that it is comfy and cozy. I love it so much that when I move into a bigger place in the future, I'll buy the matching sectional! After a year of regular use, it still looks new. However, I do condition the leather once a month to keep the leather in good shape! 5
Doesn't Come With LegsJohnWhen I unboxed this couch at home there were no legs included, despite it being listed as an included part on the website. I tried to go through Ikea support but I was told I would have to buy them separately for $20. When I told them that the website says they are included, I was told that the website was incorrect and needed to be updated. I guess I need to return the couch or pay $20 for a completed couch.1
Morabo Leather with wood legsLisaLeg broke off and ripped what appears to be a very delicate leather. This was after 1 month and two moves. I would not recommend.1

Great sofaElizabethWe like it. We have friends who have had two white ones for years and they have held up very well. So we decided to get one in grey. It’s comfortable sturdy and good looking. We wanted a more modern look and it fits the bill. Reasonable price even if on the high side. It was surprisingly heavy and took three of us to get it upstairs. I do wish the grey was a light grey but it will do. I also got grey to help it stay clean longer than say white, tan, etc.. I would recommend it. Got 5% off with my ikea card.5

We love this sofa. WeJofoWe love this sofa. We got two. Too bad that this color was discontinued. We ended up traveling to a IKEA which was really far from us to get the second sofa as it was not going to be restocked where we lived due to being discontinued. The sofa looks great!5
Doesn’t hold up to normal useEdmundLooks great when new, however, after living with it for two years it has not held up. The foam on both arms has deformed causing them to look bowed outward (you can even feel the wood underneath.) Unfortunately this is not covered by the warranty. I would not purchase again.2

What are leathers, skins and hides?

Leather is a durable material that we strive to produce as responsibly as possible. That’s why we only use by-products from the food industry and we have requirements for traceability to slaughterhouses, thereby ensuring ethically correct slaughters. The materials are then treated so that they’re usable for home decoration products. In this process we don’t allow the use of chrome, which is potentially harmful to both humans and the environment.
