Great firm sofaTomLove the firm, flat seating on this sofa. Quality is good, assembly relatively easy. Sleeping surface is also firm but comfortable. Cover material could have not more stretch to avoid showing light wrinkles on seating area. Overall still a 5 star sofa after 5 month of use.5
I expected better productMariaThis product does not work as I spected3
Sturdy in More Ways than OneDeeAttractive sofa bed that is fairly easy to assemble. The fabric appears to be sturdy, although I have only had the piece for three months so only time will tell. It is firm as others have mentioned, which is a play with regard to sturdiness, but a minus with regard to comfort. I like a firm mattress, but even I had to purchase a mattress topper in order to sleep on it comfortably. It is great for a studio apartment, particularly given its storage compartment. It is long enough for me that sometimes I simply sleep on it unassembled4
Hard as a RockAnonymous reviewerThink again what you thought about IKEA, I've had Morabo sofas for the past 7 hrs and decided to get the sleeper version only to find that it is two strange and hard to esemble and to make it wors it it is so firm (and hard) that you can't sit in it more than 15min. Would definitely bring it back if I could.1
Legs sold separately!!!TrevReally!!! I went to the store - I have one of the IKEA reps place my order - only to find out - a week later - after I am 1/2 way thru the install - that they should have placed an order for Legs!!! I called IKEA Support and they were useless!!!!!!!1
Believe the bad reviews =(CarinaI wish I had taken taken the bad reviews more seriously. The most this sofa has going for it is looks, which is what gets it to 2 stars. Otherwise - the seat and back cushions are not just firm but VERY firm. If that's your thing you might like this, but I can also see how the seat cushion will eventually just flatten over time, as others have noted - there's 0 spring/bounce in it. This carries over to the mattress, as the mattress and seat cushion are one and the same. I laid on the mattress to see how it would feel for guests. Not just hard, but also seemed to be a noticeable slope from one side to the other. I dropped another $200+ on a mattress topper, which takes the edge off the firmness of the mattress, but no such solution for the seat cushion.
Planning to contact Ikea to see if it's returnable fully assembled a month after purchase. The sofa is bad enough that I'm willing to sink even more $ into it to hire a mover to take it back to my local store. 2
Not idealKellyFairly easy to put together. Looks very nice. However, it is very uncomfortable. It feels like you're sitting on a rock. Hope it softens up in a couple of months. 2
Great sleeping sofaValeriyWell designed, high quality compact sofa/queen sleeping bed. Suits well the guest room. Easy to transform from couch to bed.5
Pull out bed ThomasIt’s functional and easy to setup. I wish it was a bit softer as a couch, but should be long lasting . 4
Questionable qualityHae SooWorked hard to try and build this extremely heavy couch and realized the bottom wood frame came seriously cracked. For the retail price, we were expecting at least SOME quality control, but were pretty disappointed. 2
A little disappointed Azra YaprakThis is the third IKEA couch that I have bought and I was so excited about it. However, it was a struggle to assemble due to the heavy parts and I couldn’t have anyone else help me which made it even worse. Then I finish assembling it and the bottom part is so hard to pull out and put back. It always gets stuck, I don’t know if my couch has a problem or it is like this in general. Super heavy due to the sleeper part. Also, so much lint. It is driving me crazy there is lint stuck on every surface of the couch. If I didn’t spent my whole evening assembling this couch I would definitely return it and just buy one of the other models they have. 3
Poorly builtSarveshSofa was cracked at the back in the same location twice1
Great sofa especially for the priceMayaThe couch is comfortable and not too firm in my opinion. Very easy to transform into a sleeper, which is firm but in a sturdy way. You could even fold it up with a mattress topper still on. There’s a new furniture smell that’s still lingering and it took a bit to put together with two people. Very worth the money so far.5
