I never thought a fork could be wrong LeemanPurchased in 2020. The fork is fiendishly designed to make you wish you'd opted for a more expensive model. The form factor of the fork gets narrower the closer you get to the ends of the tines, so everything you cant spear falls off. If you don't stoop down to within 5 centimeters of your plate, your salad ends up everywhere. Honestly can't believe they were this affordable, but 5 years later I'm still regretting the purchase. 2

Horrible - do not recommend purchasingKarenI understand the price point will reflect the quality but we were not looking for anything fancy as these were to be used for parties rather than disposable utensils. There is a strange residue on the flatware! Dishwasher, hand washing, soaking in baking soda/vinegar, and testing bar keepers on them still yielded odd tarnished dull looking utensils. We bought just before hosting a party for the holidays and had to make do. I do not recommend these and have bought different IKEA flatware in the past and never encountered this issue - major disappointment!1

Forks and spoons seem unfinished?EmilyI have an older set of Mopsig cutlery from about 6 years ago and all of the utensils have a shiny finish. They have held up really well, so yesterday I went and got another set. The knives look the same, but as other reviewers have commented, the forks and spoons are very rough and unfinished. They are not shiny at all and some still have marks from the tooling process. We'll see how they do in the dishwasher, because ultimately a fork is a fork, and they were only $6, but it's interesting to see how quality has changed. over the past few years.3

Leave a black residue on everything LynneNot sure what's wrong with this cutlery but I've washed them several times and they leave a black stain on everything that touches them including the wash cloth, drying towels, and dishpan. The water in the dish pan turns black. Never had a problem with IKEA products but this is unacceptable. Not sure what's wrong, but I'm definitely not using them. 1
