Almost amazingKatherine H.Overall this lamp is lovely. It has a subtle, elegant texture on its exterior that isn't really captured in the product photos. FYI, the shade is just slightly off-white, which might bother some people if they have a lot of pure white in the room. Unfortunately, Ikea decided for some bizarre reason to make the interior plastic frame of this lamp ecru/yellow! So sitting under the fixture, you can see the yellow contrasting with the white shade and it drives me nuts. Also, one of my shade fins had a 3" glob of string pressed into it (from somewhere in the manufacturing line) and it looked so terrible. Luckily it is MOSTLY hidden to the inside of the fixture, but it would be an eight hour round trip to return this. I would be in a much fouler mood if this defect was on the outer edge of the fin where it was noticeable. I recommend opening your box BEFORE you leave the store and checking each shade fin.3

Viscose is a strong and silky-smooth fiber – even softer than cotton. It is particularly great to use for towels and bed linens since the fiber has a very good ability to absorb moisture and provides a cool, comfortable feeling against the skin. The viscose fiber is made of cellulose, often from wood pulp of beech or eucalyptus. And just as with any other wood raw material, we strive to use it as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste.
