Great idea - if you have ikea cabinets to matchMattyWidths are precise to ikea cabinet dimensions, and assume a precise width and fairly large gap between the sides of the drawer and the top of the drawer frame. Also assumes you can run wires through the back of your cabinets, and that there is a way to get from there to an outlet. I don't think I have ever seen such a kitchen, and the claim of "no electrician" is misleading. They only support a hub-and-spoke model for wiring each light to the driver - no daisy chaining like literally every single household circuit ever - so for even a small kitchen you are going to have to pay for a bunch of the drivers and a lot of extra connector wires, then find some way to route the wires without making a complete mess. Just really a very poorly thought-out design.1

Fun to haveOdebtThese drawer lights are nice to have and it is fun seeing peoples reactions when discovering them. The only drawback is they sometimes catch on what is in the drawer. 4
sensor failed, light stays onPeterThe sensor first became erratic, occasionally failing to turn off the light when the drawer closed. It now does not turn off at all, yet other lights in the same cabinet function correctly.2
Love the light not the long cords.LoriI would have given it a 5 stars if they would give you the option of cord lengths. All my drawers have a ton of cords behind them. Out of site just frustrating that they couldn’t come with length options that plugged into the lights instead of being integrated into the system. We do love the lights whenever you open a drawer though, esp. my husband.4

This light was EXTREMELY difficultKarenThis light was EXTREMELY difficult to install. It was a replacement because the original that was only 5 years old stopped working. Because of the way it is made with the plug on one end it took the better part of our day to replace it. We ended up having to unscrew and remove the dishwasher in order to tie a string onto one end and pull it through. We certainly hope we don't have to replace another one EVER!2

What is aluminium?
