Love the ChairDarciaFirm and a great height5
2nd one purchasedStevenEasy to assemble. Great comfort. Great price.5
Comfortable and supportiveTanyaThis is a great chair. Good color options as well.5
Once again IKEA invents its own standardSergeyWanted to replace rollers with fixed posts (bell glides). Turns out that IKEA's mount hole is 0.5 mm narrower than US-wide standard of 11 mm shaft. And of course IKEA is not offering any compatible part itself. Not even sure what to do, because the chair seems well made, but should I spend a day on custom-making the penny-wise pegs because IKEA designer was too lazy to study common standard ? Or just return it and get another chair from somewhere else ? (another few hours to waste)2
Nice chairMarciExcellent chair with nice price & easy to assemble!5
Great office chairShelbeePretty standard office chair and happy to givw it high praise! We had this chair for about 5 years before it finally gave way at the seat/back connection points on each side. It's been a great chair for my husband, who is 6'2" and just under 300 lbs. It got use almost every single day since we bought it (desk day job and after work gamer), we will likely be buying another one at our next IKEA trip because he hasn't found another chair he likes as much as this one!5
After 2 years, my chair melted?EmilyIt's an average chair, averagely comfortable, but I've noticed that the back seems to have melted, despite being kept in a dark room most of its life. It has begun to leave weird stains on clothing, too. Disappointed in the quality.2
Great chair, especially at price BruceAfter assembly and trying out the chair I bought for my wife. I have ordered another one for myself. The chair provides excellent back support. Assembly was easy except for the last few screws. Be patient. The wheels move fine when seated; the instructions explain that the wheels lock when the chair is empty. Time will tell regarding durability. But the low price alleviates my anxiety about purchasing a replacement if needed. 5
Great ChairZacheryComfortable, stable, easy to assemble. 5
Armrest colorErikaI love the chair, but unfortunately the color has rubbed off on the armrests. Is it possible to get new replacements?4
Not comfortable Anonymous reviewerI bought 2. They look great, but are very hard, narrow and too upright. Recline just a little bit. Most likely will return and buy something softer.2
Very Upright!!NickThe build and quality are great! But the chair is very upright, to the point of leaning forward! It reclines. But does not lock reclined. I'd look for a different model that's more comfortable. 2
Comfortable Chair!Juan FelipeBought this chair along with a Tonstad desk. It looks neat with the desk and I have to say that is very comfortable, really value for money.5
Stiff & UnfomfortableNicoleThese chairs used to be nice and comfortable. But recently, Ikea lowered the quality. Specifically, there's much less padding in the seat so that it feels like you're sitting on cardboard. The wheels also used to glide. Now they're very stiff and don't roll easily. I'd rather pay the extra $10 bucks and get better quality like these use to be.1
Great chair!GayleThis is the second chair I purchased as I was so happy with the first chair. It has a very supportive back which is what I need for comfort . Great value for the money and easy to put together.5
Good Chair. Lasts about 12 monthsBillI am on my third Millbreget chair. They last about 12 months, and then the cushions become uncomfortable.5
Very comfortable, but...TimothyI have one of these, and at first I loved it. For the money, it was super comfortable. It provides back support and the amount of padding is just right. But there is a problem. The plastic/rubber covering starts wearing out after a year or two, especially on the armrests, and pretty soon I was covering the chair with electrical tape. This did extend the life of the chair, but of course it messed up the appearance. Also, the covering tends to stick to the skin on hot days, which is annoying. I am going to try something else next time. 4
My favorite office chairBillieI have a lot of hip, leg, and shoulder pain so I'm extremely sensitive to the chairs I sit in for long periods of time. This is the ONLY office chair I can sit in without back pain added to the mix. It's very firm to start which isn't great in my opinion, but it softens over time. I've had my chair for about 3 months and it's perfect now. I know everyone's bodies are different so this may not be the perfect chair for all or even most, but I love it. Before I had this chair, I only used another IKEA office chair, a very similarly shaped white and black one. In my opinion that one was better, more cushioning, and I just prefer white over cream, but they stopped making it and this is the next best option (plus it is a bit cheaper so I suppose that makes up for it). I definitely recommend it!5
Very comfortable and economical desk chairCarlVery comfortable and economical desk chair5
Good for one yearPerminderThis chair is good for one year. After that, the seat bends on one or the other side and the cushion slumps down. It feels like you are going to slide down at any moment. I do not suggest to buy it.2
