I don’t recommend this!Aidai O.it's uncomfortable, can’t sit for a long time because you sliding forward. Also, you can’t lean back.1
Comfy chairJOANIEVery comfortable chair.5
Office ChairSarahIt was super easy to put together and is study. I like that it can go up and down and has a straight back for good posture.5
Does the jobKIMBERLY H.It’s a big improvement on my last office chair as far as comfort and ergonomics. But it’s as ugly as sin. It’s looks like the biggest piece of furniture in my home office even though it isn’t. The scale is off. Not sure why we have to sacrifice aesthetics for a decent office chair but such is the nature of the beasts. I’ve yet to find one that is pleasing to the eye as well as the back. In this regard, IKEA is not unique. But the price is right and my shoulders are no longer screaming.4
Comfortable, but too uprightJuliaI work from home, so I need a chair that I can sit in all day. This one is good, but I can’t lean back enough4
Good and comfort.LeandroGood and comfort.5
MehGailynGlad I only paid clearance price. Bought 2 from the As-Is section for my teens. They say they’re uncomfortable - hard to lean back in. I guess that might be a good thing so the don’t sit for long periods of time.2

Good chair but it squeaks like crazyIan B.I got this chair about 9 months ago and I've put it to good use. It's comfortable to sit in, the armrests are at a good height, and I like how I can rock in it a bit. But when I rock, the whole thing squeaks super loudly. I tried tightening screws and even removing the armrests and assembling the top half all over again, but nothing helped. I haven't had any issues with the material wearing off (thankfully), though we'll see how that continues with more time. I was also able to adjust the rocking resistance to my liking with no issues. The wheels are IKEA's special auto-braking style, which could have its perks but not for me. I'd prefer to have the choice of wheels because I move my chair around a lot when not sitting in it. I really do like this chair, but please tell me how to stop the incessant squeaking! After I get that solved, this chair is worthy of at least 4 stars!3
After a year of owning this chair...Aimee W.We've had this chair for less than a year and the pleather is already flaking off and pinching up on the seat and armrests. It looks like it should be 10 years old. There's also no cushioning left so we've had to use a memory foam pillow on the seat. Super cheap and poor quality. I won't buy another office chair from Ikea.1
Tilts forward and arm rest is not tight and not adjustable.ANTENEH B.The chair tilts forward and the arm rest is very tight and not adjustable causing a pain to my shoulders and arms. I do not recommend it.1
Uncomfortable Forward TiltBilly L.This chair would be comfortable if not for the forward-leaning tilt. The tilt may not sound like a big deal, but it is. As I write this review, I am slowly sliding off the chair... It is very unfortunate as this chair has comfort potential, but falls short of expectations.2
Pull handle to tilt the chairNicole T.I see a lot of bad reviews about the tilt…To use the tilt you have to pull the handle that lifts the chair up/down. Otherwise it’s an ok chair tbh.4
Good dealALESSANDROIt is ok for me5
