UncomfortableAshleySave yourself the trouble and pick another chair. There’s no back support and I’m hurting every day. I gave it too much time and now I can’t return it.2
fantasticRomaineThis chair is great fits perfect for the desk and so easy to assemble, the package is amazing that some of the parts end up in the back of the chair great design.5
Looks beautifulMarleneThis chair looks beautiful however it is extremely uncomfortable. I bought this for school and I'm only 3 days in. This chair is causing such back pain I'm ready to throw it in the garbage. There is no real cushion and the lumbar support? Forget about it. Lower back pain all around. There is no fixing it. For the price, disrespectfully over priced. 2
Sensible, comfortable, helps good posture at the deskBarbaraMy old desk chair has served its use and it was time to get a new one. This Millberget chair surprised me pleasantly. I had begun to have hip and low back issues that I chalked up to again. However, once I began to work at my desk in this new chair my back issues disappeared. Completely. The chair seems to encourage better alignment while seated. How nice. I feel so much better!5
Good office chairMaryMy husband wanted a good office chair to replace the small one, and this was perfect. Well made, and he is very happy5
All of the wheel’s don’t work, doesn’t roll and stuckJennyWas assembling, and about 3 steps in, I realized the wheels don’t work. They don’t spin at all and they’re incredibly stiff. Only good thing that came out of this experience was realizing early how trash of a product this is. 1
comfy, but a bit stiff to lean backRandyeven adjusted fully soft, still does not want to lean back easily. bought 3, and all the same. other than that, very nice chairs5
Your back will thank you for passing on this oneMeaganI wanted to love this chair. It was the right size, the color was nice… overall it appeared to be a perfectly respectable, if basic, office chair. But there is a reason why there are so many hacks posted online for adjusting the seat angle- i used the ‘stack ten metal washers from the hardware store between the bolts and the chair base’ hack which brought the seat angle to almost 90 degrees level- at least it made the chair usable, but not without daily pain. I have zero back problems unless and only if I sit in this chair. It has no lumbar support to begin with, and its poor design thrusts you forward so acutely it’s a struggle to keep my back in contact with the chair- and thats after I did the hack! I finally bought a new chair, but I’m feeling guilty about donating this one- some poor unsuspecting soul will think they got a thrifty deal, only to end up writhing in pain, frustrated, cursing the day they brought home this perfectly respectable-looking office chair. Buyer beware.1
Safe Comfortable Office ChairPatI bought it for the locking mechanism. It rolls smoothly while your sitting but locks when you start to stand. Much safer for me I have 3 different chairs of this type from Ikea and I love them. Good price too.5
Chair wont tilt back. Poor qualityRajVery disappointing chair. It causes back pain, and the recline function does not work even after adjusting the tilt lock. The build quality feels cheap, and overall it was a waste of money.1
So comfortableBryanI've been using this chair for years now and it is as comfortable as the day I bought it.5
Good, but lacks lumbar supportJimI was excited for this chair. I've spent many years at computer desks and know isn't good. I was excited for this chair when I got it, but after a month of using it, I think I have to trade it in. There isn't really any lumbar support. I thought there was, but after enough use, it just isn't there. Also, the height of the chair is about an inch shorter than most chairs. It's just enough to make using the mouse awkward. Everything else about the chair is great, but it's just not as comfortable as I thought.3
good chairTomcomfortable, easy to assemble, easy to use. Stylish.5
GreatJaniceMy husband liked my Millberget so much that he bought this one for himself5
Nice chair for the priceSethI've owned this chair for about a month at the time of writing this. It's a great desk chair for the price. Very comfortable once broken in. It does sit very upright, but has good lumbar support for better posture. Loosening the tension adjustment all the way and unlocking the chair tilt makes for a more relaxed seating position. We'll see how long the soft beige faux leather holds up.4
Great value - nice qualityChristinaI am the Goldilocks of office chairs. I have built and owned an assortment of chairs only to abandon them because they weren’t comfortable. After my partner bought this chair I realized it could be the one. The price point is terrific as is the quality and one of the easiest to assemble - except for the backrest. Take it from me - attach the upper screws first and not the lower ones. You’ll save yourself a lot of grief.5
Love the ChairDarciaFirm and a great height5
2nd one purchasedStevenEasy to assemble. Great comfort. Great price.5
Comfortable and supportiveTanyaThis is a great chair. Good color options as well.5
Once again IKEA invents its own standardSergeyWanted to replace rollers with fixed posts (bell glides). Turns out that IKEA's mount hole is 0.5 mm narrower than US-wide standard of 11 mm shaft. And of course IKEA is not offering any compatible part itself. Not even sure what to do, because the chair seems well made, but should I spend a day on custom-making the penny-wise pegs because IKEA designer was too lazy to study common standard ? Or just return it and get another chair from somewhere else ? (another few hours to waste)2
