Perfect for the small jobs.

Easily cooks up to 6 eggs, heated tinned soup and baked beans, even made a small batch of custard. Sturdy on the ikea portable cooktop and has a glass lid to watch what you're doing. Great buy!

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colors, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.

I used simple and basic shapes like circles and ovals to create knobs and handles with generous and soft lines that provide a good grip – while also adding a lot of character. I hope that many people will appreciate the timeless design and that items in the MIDDAGSMAT series will be faithful companions in the kitchen for many years to come."
