It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.
You can mount the storage unit to the right or left, according to your space or preference.

Care
Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.
Safety and compliance
When used with an add-on unit, the whole combination must be secured to a wall to avoid the risk of tipping.Maximum evenly distributed weight is 110 lbs. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 33 lbs. on a small surface on the desk.This desk has been tested for domestic use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

Evidence of Ikeas burgeoning lazinessRobIf you consider a desk four feet and a surface it’s technically fine, but that’s about it. The narrow space of the cabinet and drawer make them all but useless. The biggest issues I have are that the drawer design ikea uses is increasingly poor. The way you put the drawers together is flimsy and literally robs you of the back 1/4 inch of drawer space. Also I don’t know if it’s poor measurement or instruction errors, but the brace behind the cabinet drawer creates a bulge under the tabletop if you follow the instructions and put the unfinished edge toward the top. There are also two cams that you can’t reach with any sort of proper screwdriver, so make sure you have some leves or something that can magic it in there.
Great, but paint chips KaleyI’ve had this desk for over a year and it serves its purpose and is great for doing work; however, the paint on the desk chips on the edges and even on the table (it makes pimple like bumps and then chips), but you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for an investment product I would say don’t buy this, but if you don’t care about the paint chipping and want a reliable desk, then it would be a good fit for you. Also my daughter built this desk herself, and considering it was her first project, if she can build it, that shouldn’t be a problem for anyone.

Great looking deskBrianThis desk looks great paired with the white Kallax wall unit. The drawers function smoothly and took about 30 min to build. It doesn’t take up much space and has plenty of space for computer or drawing. Very sturdy
DeskReemThe desk is perfect size for my teenager, it took us 2.5hrs to assemble.. it was missing the back part!! Unfortunately I can’t unassemble and return !!! Will see with the store.. other than that my son likes it .

Takes a long time to assembleGraceI am a broken woman after taking three hours to put this together. Note that I'm in good shape and of sound mind. Visually, the desk looks good and it definitely meets my needs, but god help anyone who decides to assemble this alone
DeskSamanthaThe product has great quality and looks very nice once assembled. However, I found the instruction manual quite confusing, so I had to rely on a YouTube video to figure out some steps. The assembly difficulty is medium — not too hard, but definitely not super easy either. Overall, I’m happy with the result and the value for the price, but the instructions could be clearer.

Great LookSumaiyaThis is seek and Compact table for good small place. Almost for the area of 42 inches. It’s sturdy. Installation is quite tricky because manual doesn’t mention all parts’ titles, you have to use a bit of your imagination and mind too. And fix Accordingly. Its designe took my heart. And I’m very excited to use it.

Perfect Small DeskChloeVery happy with how this desk came out. We needed to create a temporary small office in our living room and this is the *Perfect* size while leaving room for our 32 inch monitor! I appreciate the compartment underneath to hide wires. Drawers and door open effortlessly. Put this together alone and it took about 2.5 hours. Note for IKEA: I will have to agree with other reviewers, the instructions are not very clear (understatement). Definitely not up to the normal IKEA instruction standards. There are so many simple ways to have made the steps clearer and I believe a few small changes could decrease the assembly time by 30 minutes, at the least.

Perfect for our grandaughter’s bedroom!PamThe desk is attractive, sturdy (we found this out after carrying it up and down two flights of stairs), functional, and looks very nice in my granddaughter‘s bedroom. This desk went together easier than other IKEA pieces we have purchased. The directions omitted a step-by-step visual on how to put the smaller of the two drawers together and so at the end, we had a few pieces left and although it was obvious what they were for, it was still irritating. Nonetheless, we are very happy with the finished product and our grandaughter is, too.
Works but flawedShakaEasy enough to assemble. Longevity is questionable compare to the same model I bought several years for this one. They top of the desk is sagging.
Bad Instruction Manual and PiecesJingjingAlthough this product was quite excellent, the instructions left out key details. They left out how to make the smaller of the two cabinets, and I had to build it based on how to build the larger cabinet. Also, at one point in the manual, it showed a piece and showed a little bubble beside it specifying that both sides shown were not covered with a white finish. There was no such piece. Also, although I would generally recommend this product, I would also warn everyone that the instructions were very confusing. So, although the product was quite good, the instructions were very sloppy and hard to understand.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
