The smooth-running drawer is equipped with a drawer stop and is self-closing the last few centimeters.

The drawer closes slowly, quietly and softly thanks to the built-in dampers.

You can create more storage with inner drawers, either inside a higher drawer or behind the door.

To stay organized and for efficient use of space, MAXIMERA drawers may be completed with VARIERA organizers like the cutlery tray, utensil tray or plate holder.

If you have an olderGeraldIf you have an older IKEA cabinet product, it does not fit without extensive cabinetry work. The drawers are set up to cause wastage of space at the bottom of the cabinet. The drawers themselves are fine, but similar to what you can get at most cabinet companies or even Container Store. They are ok, but be very very careful in planning what you want to do and how you will install them.3

Drawers and cabinets are very good, but…SharonWe are putting IKEA cabinets in our vacation home. I’m a 74 year old woman and have been able to assemble the cabinets and drawers with relative ease (and occasional help from You Tube). They are very nice looking, and I love the soft closing doors and drawers. However, I would be hesitant to put these in a high-use home kitchen with children. I’m just not sure how long they could withstand that. I may be wrong. Communication about missing cabinets (2022 supply chain—four months!) could have been better, with at least SOME hint of when they might appear. The computer system for the agents was frequently off line, as well. But, the cabinets have finally arrived, and it will soon all be a memory.5
