Broke, replaced part and broke againSueI purchased this for my son’s room. He tripped and fell onto the bed and the main support beam bent. I purchased a replacement and about a year later the screws that were holding the beam loosened and the beam fell . I really wanted this to work and love the look of it, but after two major issues I am done. Do not recommend.
Do not buy!!!!! ChloeJust like all the other bad reviews, our support beam broke/ screws gave in the middle of sleeping!! It just completely fell through and we ended up collapsed on the floor. So lucky our pet who sleeps under the bed was NOT underneath. This 10000% should never happen.
Weird ashAnastasiaBuilding seems simple, but the screws and the screw locks and stuff are really weird. Plus they need to better disclose that you need to buy the center support beam separately, the metal bars that it comes with are so flimsy and bend. If you can, get a different bed.

Amazing qualityHaroldI bought this bed for my 12 grandchildren and 5 children and it fit all of them. I am a poor grandfather with very little money and I am very happy with this purchase. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and so comfortable. I would recommend this to big or small families. God bless 🥰🥰🥰

I hate this bed frame and regret buying it. JibadeI hate this bed frame and regret buying it. While IKEA furniture is pretty easy to put together usually, I could not, even with another person helping me, put this waste of time and space together. What a waste of my life.
Worst experience with a bed SaraI’ve had to put together and take this bed apart twice and it was miserable. The first one came defective so I had to exchange it and the wooden slats they give you don’t fit the frame at all, they slide around and fall and my mattress sinks into the frame. I ended up having to pay an extra $70 to change to the only other type of slats they sell so I’m hoping these actually fit so I can get a decent night of sleep for the first time since I bought this bed a month ago.
I do think it’s just the blue frame because my sister has the black one and she didn’t have any of these issues.

Support beam broke.StanleyThe metal, center support beam just failed on us today. We have King sized Malm bed. My wife is around 150lb I'm 200, we should be in the range of acceptable weight for this piece. The beam sheered where it hooks onto the head rest. No warranty from Ikea on this item and it seems we are not the first people to report this problem. Bed served 3 years before it broke.
