The tags make these just awfulPamThere are four large white tags sewn into the back seam of these cushions. Only the “do not remove under penalty of law, except by consumer” tag fulfills the mission of being easy to tear off without leaving any visible residue or damage. The other three have to be cut off, and because they’re sewn into the seam, you can’t remove the tag entirely — I used an X-Acto knife and scissors — so you get a white line across the back of the cushion. And on one, I inadvertently opened the seam. What a fail. The only thing I can think of to make these look decent is to buy a marker the same color and try to dye/color over the white line. So sorry I bought these.
Thought the outer cover was cotton: wrongSusanI specifically bought these seat covers because I thought the outer cover was 100% cotton. The white pillow is cotton, but if you change the color to green, and don't check the materials again, you're getting a 100% polyester product. The comments about the huge tags sewn into the back seam -- that's a big problem too. Unhappy & can't return it.
Decorative, but not functionalSusanReceived the product today. The outer material is advertised on the website as cotton, but the tags states the Interliner/Outer Fabric are 100% polyester. Sitting on the cushion I can feel the hard chair beneath. The cushions 'looks nice' but I don't want polyester. Also, the four white tags sewn into the back seam cannot properly be removed. Completely unsatisfied. Will return.
Great ValueTimothyWe needed some replacement chair pads for our kitchen chairs, so I checked out the Ikea website. I found these Malinda pads, which come in a choice of colors. The two winning factors in my purchase were the velcro tabs and the price. The store in my area is located in a very congested area, so the cost to have them shipped to my home was a no brainer.
The pads are comfortable, and stay secured to the chair with the velcro tabs. I am pleased with this purchase.
Nice chair pad and good priceSandraJust what I needed, but didn't know it. It fits my chair perfectly and looks great in my spare bedroom chair.
Great padding..JoeI really am enjoying this cushion on the wood chair I use at my vanity.
Cushy for your TushyCharlesPurchased this to go with the two folding Barstool Franklin chairs to use at a booth at a trade show. wanted portable chairs and some padded seat covers for the times i was going to be seated over a 10-hour show
Good for priceLaurenThe color is true to the picture. The texture is soft. They are a little uneven in where the stuffing is, so it feels a little off when you sit on it. But for the price, these do the trick! They fit the IKEA Stefan chairs well
Great chair padRachelThis is the second time that I buy these. They’re great because the way they attach to the chair never allows the Velcro part to rip off like most chair pads do from other stores. They’re padded just enough, very comfortable and very nice looking.
Chair cushion, MalindaJeffreyThese cushions were easy to install on our oak dining room chairs, and are very comfortable.
Perfect chair padClaireExcellent quality so comfortable to sit on love the little Velcro straps to secure to the back of the chair, highly recommend!
Great cushionNicoleFits Lisabo chairs perfectly
Nice pad! My cat and I love itElliotMy cat loves to sleep on this when I'm not sitting on it. It's comfy and not too firm/not too soft. It's good for working. I think it can be improved by adding two velcro to the front corners to better secure the cushion; it slides around a bit and it doesn't matter how tight it's secured to the chair.
Why do they have to have multiple consumer warnings?SteveThe cushion is perfectly fine and seems well made. It works just fine for my purposes. BUT, it came with 4 or 5 white large consumer warning tags and when you cut them off there's still a small white line visible against the grey cushion that really stands out. Maybe there's a way to get more of it off with more focus but it's irritating to have a nice grey cushion with a white line across the back where it can be easily seen when the chair is pushed in. I suspect this isn't the manufacturer's fault and they are "forced" to have these tags very visible but it is a pain and detracts from the cushion's appearance.
Just okEricaThe material is pretty cheap, they would be great with q more quality fabric and twice the stuffing. I do love the color we got and the velcro is very strong and looks WAY better than ties. But I am scared they will rip or go flat. They do have GIANT tags to remove as others have stated
The worst chair pads everAnonymousThese are filled with basic run-of-the-mill polyester fiberfill. It doesn't hold its shape at all. They are completely useless. The velcro is also annoying. Granted, I’m using these with spindle-back non-IKEA chairs, so they don’t fit all that well. I had intended to adjust the seam at the back and add proper ties, so I’m at least glad I figured out how low quality they are before I bothered with all that. If you just want these for staging, they're perfect—but only if you can get them for $5 each like I did and not $10 like they're showing now. Absolute garbage otherwise. Does not deserve a single star. It feels so wasteful for them to have sewn fabric just to put low quality stuffing inside, but whatever gets them a few more dollars, right?
Great cushionsTeriFit my chairs perfectly and very comfortable
Tags are impossible to removeCarolThe pads are fine for the price. I love the Velcro attachments, they work so much better than ties. The main complaint is that each pad comes with 3 very large white tags. The only way to remove is to cut as close as you can to the edge of the pad, which means that you have white showing or you end up cutting the fabric (and probably still have white showing). This may not be too bad for a white or light colored pad but it is unsightly on a darker pad
Comfortable cushionsLynnThese make my kitchen chairs comfortable again. I like the length of the Velcro attachments. I’ve already damp wiped spots off one.
NiceMiguelNice product but the cushion isn't to thick so it really doesn't help much.
