Very pretty, but…KourtneyI saw this pattern and immediately loved it, I bought it immediately. When I took the plastic off it was a vibrant for lack of a better word. After washing it before use, the black color faded quite a bit. I’m sad it’s not as sharp since the contrast of the black and white was exactly why I purchased, but it’s still soft and looks decent. I won’t fuss with returning it, keep in mind the color does fade if you decide to buy. (I have the king size cover, but I don’t think it matters honestly)4

LOVE LOVE LOVEKimberlyI love both the feel and the look of this duvet cover! My daughter inherited my sons bedroom set which is a twin set of bunk beds with a twin trundle underneath. His bedding for those three beds was all black and very masculine. We didn't want to start over entirely buying all new bedding just because of appearance and this duvet cover worked perfectly to cover his three black plaid quilts. The material is thick enough that you can't see the black plaid underneath through it and the print, while it has black in it, it still matches the rest of the black bedding but works for a feminine room by using some pink throws and pillows to bring it all together. My daughter is now THRILLED that she has a "new" bedroom set and it cost us so little to do this with the discounts at the IKEA spring sale! Highly recommend this bedding set!5

Some functionality issuesAnonymous reviewerThis duvet cover is really cool and unique looking, but it does have some functionality issues. As other reviewers mentioned, it does not have ties in the corners. The snap closure is also very low quality, and as a moderate tosser/turner, my comforter is spilling out the bottom almost every morning. The price and style make this purchase still worth it for me, and I plan to add corner ties and closure button reinforcements on my own to address function issues3

Designer thoughts

When designing the autumn textile collection, I got carried away with big and bold graphical patterns. I started out drawing by hand, to get a lively feel. I like how the hand makes things naturally asymmetric. Random checks, untamed leaves, and details from nature were my inspiration. For me, Scandinavian design is not only simple, but also warm, nature-inspired, and often bold and large-scale. I hope you find this collection as happy and welcoming as I do.
