No spare parts after 7 yearsMaya R.After 7 years of use, one of the plastic protections on the legs of the sofa broke. Ikea does not provide replacement parts for that particular part. I am looking for a solution. The sofa bed is supposed to have a 10 year warranty.
Great idea. Bad MattressKrystal H.The concept is great. It pulls out with ease and easy to put away. The mattress, on the other hand, it extremely hard. It is a thick foam mattress but has no give. Just firm. If you can find a mattress with the same concept as Ikea's, you are good.

Love it comes with a cover so my guests can sleep on 100% clean bed, especially I have a cat that literally left a hairy and oily stain on the sofa cover (coz he loves the sofa too!) Also, I can set up the bed sheet under the cover, so the bed is ready instantly when it is pulled out.
The only problem is the mattress (although pretty thin) being on the firm side which I love so much but may upset some soft bed sleepers.
After some use I did run into issue of the sofa not laying down flat, and later I discover that’s because one plastic piece at the joint loosen up, once I snap it back it gives no problem. That’s probably the most fragile piece the rest of the build is very sturdy.
Excellent sofabed for small living roomMarci P.So glad I got this! This was harder to put together than say a Poang chair but didn't take long. I seem to have almost broken it the first time I put into sofa mode, as I somehow shoved the seat part back between the slats of the backrest part! I took the mattress off and freed the stuck seat part and practiced a few times without the mattress before putting it back on. Also, for the last step the two screws provided to secure the plastic cover things were too big, but luckily I had smaller ones. Even so, it is a lovely addition to the living room, especially with throws and sheepskins on top. AMAZING price and gorgeous mattress. Highly recommend.
Nice for small spacesMelanieI was looking for a sleeper sofa or loveseat that wouldn't take up too much space in my spare room / office. This was perfect. It's easy to unfold by jus pulling from the bottom and walking backwards. The mattress is pretty firm so you might need a topper. It was also rather easy to put together by myself.
Very SimpleOluseyiI love this. I had to get rid of a bed due to space and wanted something smaller for the room. I came across this at ikea and I immediately fell in love with it. It's sturdy, easy to put together, the cover can be washed and you can buy other covers as well. This was super easy to put together as well and I did it on my own with no help
Nice sofa!MarshaI put this together myself. It’s a good futon sofa and fits in my space (playroom) perfectly. My mom sleeps on this when she visits. I had to add a memory foam mattress topper from Amazon and then it’s very comfortable for sleeping. Cover is very cute. Very comfortable when sofa. A little pricey.

the foam mattress is not definitely not comfortable for sitting or sleeping. it is rock hard, and has stayed that way. i bought one for my she-shed and a second one for my camper. i have problems every time folding it out and folding it back in.
PROS:
the covers are practically indestructible. it fits well in small spaces. appreciate that they used velcro straps to keep mattress attached to the frame.
CONS:
it's uncomfortable. OK to sleep on once in a while but only if you add a mattress topper. as a bed it sits considerably lower than normal. difficult to extend. difficult to fold up. boring cover colors. dramatic price increase.

Good for small roomHeatherI really like how it looks when it’s closed although it is very hard to close it doesn’t want to catch easily. The mattress is very hard and stiff, it’s OK for my son but I would never be able to sleep on it! Overall it’s pretty good For a younger person or if you have out of town guests briefly staying.
