Perfect RebeccaVery comfortable and works well5
Lycksele lovasJoan LI put this couch bed together and I love it. 5
Learn from our mistake!KristenWe love the pull out sleeper couch …now. We had a bit of trouble at first. We completed assembly & noticed the bed continually folded up on us. We went back to the assembly instructions & discovered we had put the wheels facing the wrong direction in step 4. (pg 7) We were able to correct our error & now the bed works perfectly. (Stays flat when it should) We purchased this for our RV & the dimensions are perfect for the space! (& it’s much more comfortable than the couch/air mattress bed that we took out!)5
Totally ThrilledHarryNot only does the sofa look great in our guest room, it also sleeps great. We have used it several times with no complaints from guest. 5
Comfortable live seat / spare bedLynThis is the most comfortable small convertible sleeper sofa that we have found. It was a bit harder to put together than we thought it would be but once together it's been great5
No spare parts after 7 yearsMayaAfter 7 years of use, one of the plastic protections on the legs of the sofa broke. Ikea does not provide replacement parts for that particular part. I am looking for a solution. The sofa bed is supposed to have a 10 year warranty.4
Great idea. Bad MattressKrystalThe concept is great. It pulls out with ease and easy to put away. The mattress, on the other hand, it extremely hard. It is a thick foam mattress but has no give. Just firm. If you can find a mattress with the same concept as Ikea's, you are good.2
Perfect size!EmilyPerfect size for our upstairs so we can have a guest bed and a couch for the kids, plus room in our library for a desk for the 3 kids computers.4

Great multi purposeBiancaLove that it is a couch and pull out bed. My only problem is trying to lay the bed out.4
Easy AssemblyDeborahPerfect for the purpose for which I bought it.5
Great BuyAngelaWe purchased this bed for a Tiny House we have here in the mountains, it folds out to a full-size bed and doubles as a small sofa when not in use. Our guest loved it and said they were able to rest well.5
Love itQitingThree fold makes it very compact when folded. Love it comes with a cover so my guests can sleep on 100% clean bed, especially I have a cat that literally left a hairy and oily stain on the sofa cover (coz he loves the sofa too!) Also, I can set up the bed sheet under the cover, so the bed is ready instantly when it is pulled out. The only problem is the mattress (although pretty thin) being on the firm side which I love so much but may upset some soft bed sleepers. After some use I did run into issue of the sofa not laying down flat, and later I discover that’s because one plastic piece at the joint loosen up, once I snap it back it gives no problem. That’s probably the most fragile piece the rest of the build is very sturdy.5
Excellent sofabed for small living roomMarciSo glad I got this! This was harder to put together than say a Poang chair but didn't take long. I seem to have almost broken it the first time I put into sofa mode, as I somehow shoved the seat part back between the slats of the backrest part! I took the mattress off and freed the stuck seat part and practiced a few times without the mattress before putting it back on. Also, for the last step the two screws provided to secure the plastic cover things were too big, but luckily I had smaller ones. Even so, it is a lovely addition to the living room, especially with throws and sheepskins on top. AMAZING price and gorgeous mattress. Highly recommend.4
Nice for small spacesMelanieI was looking for a sleeper sofa or loveseat that wouldn't take up too much space in my spare room / office. This was perfect. It's easy to unfold by jus pulling from the bottom and walking backwards. The mattress is pretty firm so you might need a topper. It was also rather easy to put together by myself.5
Very SimpleOluseyiI love this. I had to get rid of a bed due to space and wanted something smaller for the room. I came across this at ikea and I immediately fell in love with it. It's sturdy, easy to put together, the cover can be washed and you can buy other covers as well. This was super easy to put together as well and I did it on my own with no help5
Nice sofa!MarshaI put this together myself. It’s a good futon sofa and fits in my space (playroom) perfectly. My mom sleeps on this when she visits. I had to add a memory foam mattress topper from Amazon and then it’s very comfortable for sleeping. Cover is very cute. Very comfortable when sofa. A little pricey.4
Sofa/bedBetSofa/bed purchased as extra bed for guests. Used recently: no problems. It’s the right size for TV watching as well.5
Great sofa bed at aJonathanGreat sofa bed at a good price5
perfect size but NOT comfortableCarolalways like ikea for innovative styles, and if i rated this sofa bed on just that feature, i'd give 10 stars. however... the foam mattress is not definitely not comfortable for sitting or sleeping. it is rock hard, and has stayed that way. i bought one for my she-shed and a second one for my camper. i have problems every time folding it out and folding it back in. PROS: the covers are practically indestructible. it fits well in small spaces. appreciate that they used velcro straps to keep mattress attached to the frame. CONS: it's uncomfortable. OK to sleep on once in a while but only if you add a mattress topper. as a bed it sits considerably lower than normal. difficult to extend. difficult to fold up. boring cover colors. dramatic price increase.3

Our take on cotton

We use cotton in many of our products, from sofas and cushions to bed linen and mattresses. It is a soft, durable, and renewable fiber that breathes and is good at absorbing moisture. All these great qualities make cotton one of our most important materials, but it isn’t without its challenges, much having to do with conventional farming methods that negatively impact the environment and poor working conditions for farmers. With our size and production volumes, we want to drive change in the cotton industry.

Working together to drive change

Each year, IKEA uses around 0.5 percent of all cotton grown around the world. This may not seem like a lot, but the number is big enough to drive change in the industry. For many years, we have been working with partners and stakeholders globally to transform conventional large-scale cotton farming and set social and environmental standards for cotton production. As an example, we helped set up the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) who runs the world’s largest cotton sustainability programme. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. Today, more than 110,000 farmers have adopted more sustainable farming practices within IKEA projects.

Ensuring compliance throughout the value chain

All IKEA products are produced in accordance with the IKEA IWAY Standard, our Supplier Code of Conduct. It sets out the minimum environmental and social standards expected from our suppliers, including compliance with local laws. We do not accept any form of forced labor, child labor or treatments in breach of our supply chain requirements. Our cotton teams across the globe ensure that all cotton used in IKEA products meets the demands of compliance in our supply chain. By having teams on the ground in areas where it has previously been challenging to work responsibly, we can challenge the traditional ways of working and improve the industry. If we discover that we are acting in places where we cannot ensure our requirements are being met, we follow-up on the ground and drive change.

Material

What is cotton?

Cotton is one of the world's most appreciated and used natural fibers. Textiles in cotton are soft, hardwearing and can be washed at high temperatures. They are also good at breathing and absorbing moisture – making them pleasant to wear close to the body. Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilizers and water.
