These hinges are a nightmareAmberThis piece feels nice, and was about 25% bigger than I was anticipating. The construction was fine up until the doors. The screws that come pre-installed on the hinges do not like to spin through the hinges. You will not be able to get enough leverage to install them when the cabinet is upright. I had to lay the cabinet on its side to get enough body weight leverage to screw them in. Everything went fine up until that point and then they took two additional hours to finish.

Looks great, difficult to assembleKimberlyWe just purchased and built the Lommarp cabinet, and the blue green honestly looks really great. It feels sturdy and I like that the doors don’t slam shut. Our doors on the bottom section are slightly misaligned, but there is a way to adjust that through the screws on the hinges. We just don’t think it’s noticeable enough to hassle with it.
I am marking this down one star because the assembly was extremely challenging. The plastic pieces that secure the back were very hard for us to snap in place without a hammer. And the door hinge screws would not budge without a power drill. We’re not sure if this is a normal occurrence or a quality control issue, but a hand-held screwdriver was not enough. I also wish there was some sort of labeling system for the wood panels similar to the hardware. We spent a lot of time going through all the pieces to make sure we were grabbing the right ones.

Gorgeous CabinetBridgetI saved up to buy this cabinet that I'm using for my china. It's absolutely lovely and my daughter and I put it together by ourselves. All parts fit PERFECTLY. The only trouble I had was with the cabinet hinges and getting them to level and open properly on top... had to ask a friend to help with that but we eventually got it. The finish on this piece is very nice (I bought the blue one) and it looks elegant and modern in my dining room. I could definitely see this cabinet in multiple rooms for different uses, it's that versatile. Good job, IKEA. Thank you. :)
Beautiful !LindseyThis cabinet is so beautiful. The color and hardware are gorgeous. The cabinet is sturdy and has tons of space. I use the top to store my candle collection and the bottom to store random house items. Really happy with this purchase!

Hinges and Door Alignment KarenI have been unable to align the upper doors with several hours of efforts. Consequently the hinge mounting hardware is now ruined and I will need to purchase new hinges and hardware. The hinges are poorly designed resulting in the mounting hardware becoming unusable after several attempts to adjust the doors so that they both close without hitting each other or the base of the opening.

this set is beautifulKathyWe bought the 2 tall side cabinets and the low cabinet to put the TV on. They are beautiful. They do not scream "Ikea furniture" ! We love the color, the brushed "brass" (?) appearance of the hardware, and the storage capacity.
They are pretty expensive for pressboard, but we sure do like how they look.
Beautiful cabinets SamsiaThis project take 2 day's to complete. Bit confusing to build this the manual missing explanations. Some how we figured out. The end result is stunning , master piece in our living room. Worth for price, time and effort.
Beautiful!JimmyI purchased two of these to match the TV console. I spent 1.5 to 2 hours per cabinet install by myself. There are many parts, but the durability is good based on how everything goes together. The dark blue-green looks beautiful once it's all together. It's worth the work needed. The only issue I can see is how easily it seems to scratch. For the TV console, definitely needed a cover over it. I wish they had a glass made for this.
Took me hoursBeatrizIt’s a beautiful cabinet, but for the price it is absolutely NOT worth it. I’ve purchased many things from ikea and never had anything been this hard to build. The cabinet doors simply do not screw in. I had to strip the wood and the hinges to get them in. and after all that work they’re still crooked despite screwing them into the directed holes. I’m so disappointed, this took me hours and was incredibly frustrating. Not to mention it scratches so easily.
Quality furnitureJulieLove this piece of furniture. Love the color blue/green. Looks so nice in my room. I bought two of these and they are on either side of the matching TV console. Very nice addition to our home. Very easy to put together if you take your time and follow the directions. It really is a quality piece of furniture.
