The ash veneer table surface and solid birch legs add a warm, natural feeling to your room

Ash is a naturally durable material. The surface has been made even more hard-wearing by a protective coat of lacquer, which also helps it keep its natural wood feel.

Easy to assemble as each leg has only one screw.

Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.

Care

Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.

2 Years LaterErikaI first reviewed this desk with 4 stars in May 2023 -- I was really happy with the desk other than the 'crackling' noise the surface made, like the veneer wasn't sealed properly. Sure enough, after 2 years of daily home office use, the veneer is completely cracked and peeling. I'm disappointed for sure, but I haven't seen other reviews mention this particular issue, so I assume my desk is just randomly defective.2

Great Desk for Home OfficeErikaI bought the Lisabo desk for my home office because I love my Lisabo side table so much. As before, the desk was super easy to put together and it looks great in my space. The only concern I have is -- compared to the side table -- the veneer on top of the desk seems much cheaper in quality, like it's not been 'sealed' completely flat. I can 'hear' the veneer when I touch the surface.4

Simple, solid desk.DarrenThis is the easiest assembling desk I have ever found. The geometry of the legs makes it more stable than a typical desk. I got one of these for one of my sons, both of whom are ... hard on their furniture. It did so well, I just put together a second one for his (even more accidentally destructive) little brother.5

Handcrafted feeling, modern technique

LISABO table has an organic shape and bevelled edges, a design that previously could only be made with solid wood. We wanted to find a more environmentally friendly and less expensive solution and developed a technique using solid wood around the edges and wood slats inside the table top. The construction makes the table very strong, so you can use it for many years. The natural beauty comes through thanks to a specially developed lacquer that also makes the surface durable. A real wood feeling and a unique table – without time-consuming upkeep!

"The idea behind LISABO was to create a series with the distinct feeling of wood, a floating expression and durable, easy to assemble construction. We chose a matt lacquer on the ash veneer so the furniture will keep its natural wood feel. The special technique we use allows the tables to be produced without support rails and with slanted edges that give it a handcrafted look. The furniture can be used in different ways and the pieces work great together or individually."
