The tabletop has pre-drilled holes to make it easier to attach to the underframe.
Board-on-frame is a strong and lightweight material with a frame in wood, particleboard or fiberboard and a recycled paper filling. It requires less raw materials and is easy to transport, which reduces the environmental impact.
Good to know
This tabletop is suitable to use with legs from our Build Your Own Desk range. It's not suitable to use with underframes from our office range (like MITTZON, TROTTEN or IDÅSEN).

Care
Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.
Safety and compliance
This desk has been developed and tested for home used and is not suitable for installation of a screen stand. Maximum evenly distributed weight is 110 lbs. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 33 lbs. on a small surface on the desk.This table has been developed for home use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

sides coming off!KarinaI bought two of these 11/15 and the siding on them are completely broken apart from the table itself! I am extremely disappointed and have no way of returning other than traveling hundreds of miles.
chipping paint and bump??Zouribought it a few months ago and everything was great! now i think it’s been maybe four months and the middle of the desk has a raised bump that’s cracking!! the paint on the edges of the desk is also chipping!! i’m very disappointed with this desktop especially because its so cute with the alex drawers. do better! : /
Don’t even think of using this as a computer deskAlexI stayed well under the 33‑lb concentrated weight limit—added a monitor arm, and the desk collapsed anyway. It feels like a glorified piece of recycled cardboard. $69.99 for this? The exact same thing would’ve cost $40 a decade ago and been better built. Completely unacceptable.

Great size and all, yet....QualeshiaI love the size of it, in all honesty. I just really hate how it only comes in white and chips so easily. I would love to see brown-black or that turquoise of the desk followed by less chipping. Maybe next time, I suppose. I would have given a higher rating if it added more color options and less chipping, honestly. I do hope that will come in the future. I honestly love the desktop, just wished it had better options for color and wasn't prone to chips and scratches.

Edges chipSheenaeIt was perfect in design and fit my needs exactly when I got it but it did not hold up. The edges started chipping right away. It's expected for laminate table tops to do so after years of use, but it's only been 3 months and I can see the mdf underneath already.

Great option for a tableAshleeWe recently bought this as an inexpensive option for a dining room table, and it did not disappoint! It’s very sturdy, and great dimensions. We do have to make sure we’re using coasters because I’m not sure if it’s plywood or not. Not a big deal. Would recommend!
