My Preferred AA/AAA BatteriesJoshuaI was a long time user of the Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries for anything from Xbox controllers, tap lights, remotes, clocks and a handful of my kid's toys. After trying these out, I pretty much just stick with LADDA batteries. For all of these use cases, they have been great; they last just as long and charge just as well. The overall life of the battery seems about the same too.
The perfect battery for me would be one of these... but black. How about a blacked out LADDA, IKEA, what do you think? 😉5
Love these!JilleneI’ve been using Ladda batteries and charger for several years. I just bought the orange Solvinden lights for my patio, so I needed more batteries. These last a long time before needing to be recharged. 5
NOT shippableMichelleUnfortunately, these batteries are needed to operate the stupid under-cabinet lights. This piece of important imformation was NOT made very clearly, and sadly, I have wasted $50 for lights that can't work without these batteries. The kicker is - these batteries CANNOT be shipped. If I lived near an IKEA this wouldn't be a big deal. But I don't., and it's over an hour drive. WHY don't you have an IKEA in Madison, WI? There should be enough college students to keep you in business for a very long time.1
Top-tier rechargeable AA batteries, still made in Japan as of February 2025!JohnThe ONLY rechargeable AA batteries I own anymore, and the only ones I continue to recommend. Thankfully still made in Japan as of February 2025. Hoping IKEA continues to keep it this way and never outsources to a less reputable manufacturing territory as many other battery companies unfortunately have. 5
Best rechargeables on the market!MarielouAfter fully recharging, they last for 1 month more or less. Love it that I don’t buy batteries ever again. I use them for my outdoor candles, lanterns, and pantry lights. I’ve tried others from hardware stores and never last long enough no more than a week.5
Best replacement for alkaline JohnI’ve quit buying alkaline batteries. They always leak and damage the electronics. I’ve changed all to NiMH. IKEA’s are made in Japan at the same factory as Eneloops. 5
These are my favorite rechargeables!MargieI recently bought some LED taper candles with a remote to put in the sconces in my entry area. When power goes out I now hit the remote & "let there be light." These batteries last longer both giving off light and not developing recharge problems.
I've run a test using 2 of the candles using these and another brand and the Ladda won. Both sets of batteries had the same specs, each had one run in each device, and were recharged in their brands charger. Both times the Ladda lasted longer & as a plus the Ladda charged sooner.5
One of the best rechargeble Batteries available in the USAndyThere are AA Batteries on Amazon that claim higher mAh Capacity. (EBL caugh caugh) and while that is true in the beginning after slow use they all fall way bellow 2000 mAh. The IKEA LADDA Batteries also deliver the advertised Capacity after years. Often above the advertised 2450 mAh.
Only the EBL AAA BAtteries seem to deliver higher Capacity also after 2 years of Service. But they have also a 10-20% of total failure Rate. I switched completely to LADDA, as they are more reliable in the long term and I never had a single LADDA Battery (AA and AAA) fail completely.
Also it seems the LADDA are more manufactured to the AA-Dimonesion standards. Other manufacturer often are like slightly shorter and you need to bend the tip of where they are placed a little bit. LADDA always fit perfectly without wiggeling.5
Love these powerful reusable batteriesDoreenI wanted to replace all my batteries with rechargeable batteries so I always have batteries and don't have to go out and buy more that will just be single use, these last longer than the 1900 Ladda so I'm sticking with these. A great investment because you can reuse over and over again. All you need to do is recharge them. 5
Great for what NiMH are intendedJohnI have been using LADDA 2450 for nearly six years now in a weekly use cycle at a church for band members. I have some that have been through hundreds of cycles and they keep going. In tests, these (well the original 2450 in white) have been tested against Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop Pro and they stack up well. For Camera flash to other uses. I also use them for cordless mouse and keyboard applications.
They are about 2400 mAh when new. Some reviewers are not aware of such limitations of NiMH and the nominal voltage being lower than Alkaline. If you know what you are doing, these are great batteries. If you wanted to buy Eneloops - get these first. Half the price.
I miss them being available for two dollars less, but still under 10 now is fine.5
Good as others 🤞🏻AdamThey've done ok so far though when I switched out 2 from TV remote with 2 fresh LADD ones, the charge dropped too much🤨 When I tested them, they aren't holding a good charge like a pair of EBL 3000mAh have. The EBL have been stored longer & are holding a high charge 👍🏻 I'm hoping with a few charges it will enhance the LADDA 2450 ones 🤞🏻 I think the price is better than similar others in their category but I really hope they hold up & last long enough so I could really give 5 Stars & recomend to people I know, only time & use will tell 🧐3
Trying to stop using alkalinesDouglasI used them in an outdoor cChristmas display and they worked fine.5
Great Battery Life!MarilouBest lasting rechargeable battery I've found at less than half the price of others. Made in Japan.
Unfortunately, they haven't been able to ship these for months so I finally had to drive 1.5 hours to the nearest store to pick them up.5
very comfortable to wear the Tasjon. The Ladda battery works great for meWarfeI highly recommend both products 5
Works as advertisedAberWorks well in my Kwickset doors and Swap them out every month.5
Good price EdwardGreat rechargeable battery with high capacity. 5
Works so wellDesireeWe have multiple sets of these batteries for everything in the house. We use them in all remotes, toys, our milk frother, LED candles, fairy lights, nightlights, you name it we use them in our house. They hold a charge so well, are easy to recharge, and are so much better for the environment. I honestly think they last longer than traditional batteries.5
One of the BEST purchases from IKEA I ever made!SaleshSure you can get cheaper batteries. But these are the BEST when it comes to High draw devices.
They put out some REAL power as well!
In High drain items like LED Lamps you get from the Hardware store? NOTHING BEATS THEM minus the LIthium Batteries.
I have had mine for well over 2 years and they still work great.
Bottom line5
Ladda rechargeable Nimh batteriesKedirI have used this batteries before they are excellent the on i hope as good as my old ladda.5
