Easy to use garlic pressVivienThis saves so much time. You put a garlic clove in it and you press it down and it comes out minced. This is a must-have in any kitchen that uses a lot of garlic5
FlimsyKristinaI had exactly the same model of garlic press from Ikea for around 10 years. It was sturdy and well made, but recently broke. I decided to not look further and ordered the same model. Even the new one looks the same (from the design perspective) but the quality is not even close to the old one. It's made from cheap materials and very flimsy.2
RustSadeStarted to realize there were a lot of chipped areas soo to mean that means I probably ingested parts of it……..1
Love this garlic pressSallyEveryone needs a fully functional garlic press!!! It is compact, easy to use and cleans up quickly and easily.5

Not the same as the old versionRosemaryI have to say I’m so disappointed. I received this exact same garlic press from my sister about 4 years ago and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately my husband lost the little basket so I had to purchase a new one I was glad to see it was still in stock but when I picked it up I immediately felt the difference it was so much lighter than the other one and felt so flimsy and fake. Luckily I kept my old one and just switched the new basket into the old press but I am still so disappointed that they cheaped out so much on the newer model. I even weighed the old one and the new one on my kitchen scale and the newer one is 3oz lighter than the old which is quite a difference for something so small. I hate how companies care so much about profit that they let their product suffer. Everything is just meant to break and throw away and create more waste now. I would rather pay more for longer lasting products.2
Not stainless steelIuliaI read other customers had the same issues. The top part started peeling after a few uses, because it is not stainless steel as it is marketed. 1
Best Garlic PressAshleyThis is the holy grail of all garlic presses. I bought this same press about 12 years ago and the only reason I had to replace it was due to wear and tear. I've tried to replace this press with other brands and none have come close. I love it so much I bought 2 just incase I can't find it in another 12 years.5

Love itAnonymousHow to replace my old garlic press. This one is so much better, the can that holds the garlic is removable for easy cleanup.5
Simple, but great qualityAspenThis product was a great price and simply made. I was a little nervous about the quality because of the price and simplicity, but it works great! Definitely a buy worth making.5
ExcelentMaria TeresaI used this device since a lot of year is fantastic5
SuperMariaIs my favorite product of ikea5
did not last longLauranneThe description say it is stainless steel, but it has an out layer that started flaking off after several uses. And it is kinda fiddly to use.2
So UNdelightfully fiddly!!DaveI always had one until I moved to the US, and finally opted for this……fiddly thing!
I find it difficult to get the disc on to the garlic, so often it just slips down the handle, just poor design!
I’m going back to crushing the garlic with my knife.2
Decent Garlic PressNatalieThe product is priced well and it works fine. The only downfall is I wish the handles were a little bit more comfortable to grip. (Garlic is hard to squeeze) My husband says it’s just fine though so maybe it’s just me and my hands.4
Bit smallSathishBit small to handle 1 pod of garlic. Otherwise it's good3
