Terrible handle design, great spatula design DerickDo not buy this spatula. The handle is designed extremely poorly. With the hollow center and non sealed edges water will get inside the handle every wash. I would shake the spatula and you can hear water inside the handle. Eventually every wash more water goes in and that water that never fully dries inside the handle will start rusting/ the water inside will get moldy and mildewy. I had some of that trapped water leak onto my hand while cooking. Smelled like pure mildew, disgusting. 2
My favorite spatula SusanI love this spatula and have bought at least 5. I give them to friends and family as Kitchen Must-haves. The edges are sharp enough to slide under pancakes or burgers. The handle is smooth and round and big enough to grip. The 'neck' of the handle is configured in a zig-zag, allowing it to sit at the edge of the pan without falling in. I have two in my utensil crock right next to my stove-top. I love having them. 5
